Boogie / Boogie2988 / "Francis" / Steven Jason Williams - Fat, Rapidly Declining Divorced "Nice Guy" Middle-Aged Youtuber, Former Edgy Porn Blogger, lied about having cancer and being molested. Cohost of fake drama show "Lolcow Live (LCL)". Just WILL NOT die.

I wonder what goes on in the head of the average fan of his. His social media presence is a self pitying disaster, his videos are so meh. I guess people just prefer somebody making a video about the pop culture news instead of actually reading about it. I certainly do.

The funny thing is that Boogie is just well liked by YouTubers. People would have a dozer reason to call him out but nobody big ever does that. Maybe he has some dirt on them/know that Boogie can be a backstabbing asshole when provoked or just nobody wants to punch this sad (albeit too wealthy) guy.

I think the average loyal fan simply either isn't interested in boogie further than the surface level, or is a lot like him so they don't mind his less public/off youtube behavior.

true but some of those fans will eventually stop following boogie as they find new things to occupy their interest. I view boogie's loss of fans by also considering how he now will have a lot of trouble getting new ones to follow him rather than what he still has left

It's Memorial Day in the US, and boogie shared a story about a guy he knew in high school who died while serving in the military.

I looked up Race Rudder and found this obituary for Stephen Race Rudder, who went by his middle name. It confirms that he went to high school in the area where Boogie grew up (Wise County, VA) around the same time boogie was in high school, he served in the Navy, and he was deployed to the first Gulf War. But the guy didn't die in a base accident at 18. He left the Navy, had a family and multiple jobs in the private sector, and lived to 40.

I don't keep a close eye on this thread, so I don't know if this is typical behavior for boogie. This just seems like a really strange thing to lie about.

Boogie will lie to make things seem far more dramatic than they actually are. The story of a man who went to war at 18, lived, then continued to live for 22 more years has 0 dramatic impact that Boogie can exploit to get attention. But a man dying young in a war? That shit sells.
I'm just surprised anybody is buying what Booger is trying to hawk here when the information to disprove his little story is so easy to find with a single google search of the name.

Weird stolen valor, but ok. He should be careful when lying about military stuff in the US, the military community can be extra autistic when it comes to people pretending stuff.

Of course maybe he is just covering the fact that there was no bomb in Afghanistan, they just simply dropped Boogie.

Seems to me like Melon uses half-truths like that because he uses someone else's accomplishments to live his fantasies through them. In this case, he would like to be seen and remembered as some hero who died young by serving his country. Boogie does that because he knows deep inside his lard that he has done nothing of note in his life other than be a modern freak show and when he is gone people will just move on.

Why didn't he just say he was killed by enemy troops on the battlefield or something? Dying in some random accident unrelated to anything else doesn't really prove any sort of point.

Maybe they just don’t care about a fat boomer. There are definitely people on this forum that I think are too pathetic to even follow (Graeme Kelly), maybe they think it’d be mean to dunk on the freak show. Usually it’s attractive people being catty to each other in YouTube call outs - whether the drama is always real or sometimes mutually agreed upon for clicks is anybody’s guess. Not calling out Boogie is best practice imo.

Looks like everyone is calling him out on it. I wonder if he'll deny it, ignore it, or delete the tweets. What a stupid, virtue signalling fat fuck.

Giving both of you Winner stickers because that is just the utmost perfect example of Boogie's lying style. A half-truth all sexed up to be dramatic. He could just say "look at this guy, God bless", but he's gotta take it that extra few feet to kick up the drama. He knows exactly what he's doing.

Such a dumb thing to lie about, but we're talking about Boogie, so none of that is a surprise. He had to know that after giving this dudes real name and such a sad story of dying so young in war that at least a few people are gonna look him up to see what his story was, only to discover that Boogie's a lying idiot that was just trying to milk this dudes story for some internet attention by embellishing him.
