He's held Plague Tales hostage for at least $700+ in tips now lol, but he didn't hesitate a second for SAHNIC, which has been a great investment because of the "high quality graphics and colors". He gets to retire this today after diddling with himself in online for a half hour which he'll say is the low point (after no one else tips).

I really don't get why people in his stream don't point out his patreon (while failing) has still been more than enough to cover the cost of all his game purchases, and that is exactly what he advertises it as.

All he's bought for games in May was Sonic Racing, Rage 2, and what else?

Someone asked Phil how much a plague tale cost.

He said he doesn't know.
But yet he still can't afford it.

Also I'm pretty sure he's mentioned it is 40 dollars before, or has been told this before.
Yep, he said it during the pre-stream of May 20th. I'm putting together a small clip, will be done shortly.

-edit- Here you go:

He's being so fucking exceptional about this whole A Plague Tale thing.

-edit2- Wait! He actually mentioned it during TODAY'S pre-stream too. :story:

Here:

"The game is, I think, 40 dollars plus taxes. So you're talking like 45 dollars."

In case someone wants to know: it's at exactly the 38-minute mark of today's Twitch stream/VOD, so it will probably be around 11-14 minutes into the pre-stream video he's going to upload to Youtube.

So yeah, he mentioned it at least twice, with the last time being only 3 hours before "not knowing" the price.

That clip Comma put together needs to be spread around. This whole thing is such a scam for donations.

Particularly shoved into the faces of patreon pledgees. Sure they're too cucked and far gone to ever realize the truth but maybe just maybe one of them will wake up.

So, Twitch is testing subscriber-only live streams and an official announcement will be coming soon.

How many you think that phil will go for that option ?

Phil just said he needs at least 55 dollars to clear the game price + taxes ( an amount which he later writes off on his own taxes)

Did i mishear this? Because that's 10 dollars higher than what he claimed at the beginning of the pre-stream.

Now i don't know what taxes are in Washington for digital game sales, but that seems a little high...
@Comma
did you happen to catch that? It would have been about 15 minutes ago probably, but it was definitely after most recent break.
Bad Bunny just raided his stream again, but had to cheer for him to even acknowledge it. Then he promptly ignores the whole thing while he sits in empty lobbies trying to find a match.

He'd never go for that since it would cease his ability to get sub gifting from the usual whales and his sizable bulk of non sub "trolling" donations. Unless i am misunderstanding this whole thing.

Okay, the autism is now almost going too fast to keep up with.

BadBunny is cheering about wanting to be his friend, DSP of course says he doesn't want any friends.
Meanwhile you could hear his *ACK-ACK-ACK* through someone's mic in-game (he didn't know/hear what it was).
Then Badbunny disses him saying she's much like him: "no friends and masculine features" with DSP answering slightly agitated "Yes, I've got very masculine features".
Then his stream can be heard loud and clear through an in-game mic and he quickly mutes it.

-edit- And as I was typing the above, BadBunny gifted 5 subs:

And all this time his chat is a complete mess of Wings of Redemption memes, frog emote spam and other shit. Basically anything that doesn't have to do with the game or DSP playing the game.

Oh, and almost nobody is playing Team Sonic Racing online, making it difficult to find matches. And on top of that the game crashes regularly.

What an absolute mess.

Can I get a quick rundown on how the frog emote became a dsp meme?
As far as i know, its a free emote and people like spamming it because its free. DSP suddenly got pissy about it one day so naturally people only did it more.
This may have been around the time when restreamers were mocking the way he said frog and golf. Its definitely a forced meme in origin but it seems to have taken off as a legitimate way to troll him.
Mods started banning people for using it too, which of course doesn't work, and is also insane when you think about it.
Then he added his own horrible version because he doesn't understand his community at all.

The tactic seems to be to wait until regulars or those with big badges start spamming, then all the throwaway accounts post a frog or two and turn it into a flood. The key being each account should only post it once or twice so not to get singled out by his sperg mods. Then mods just start banning anyone new who posts it even once.

If it works, it shows the entire chat that there is obvious special treatment and certain people can do things that non-paypig people can't. Unfortunately i don't think it always comes off like that.

I don't think anyone high up enough at Twitch to make such a call knows or cares about Phil. People call for Phil to be permabanned constantly and 99% of the time if he was I would have to call bullshit. I get other streamers have been banned for the smallest things, and that's bullshit too, but some people getting screwed while others fall through the cracks is something that happens all the time.

The theory that whoever checks Twitch partner reports/complaints knows zero backstory of Phil's 10 year legacy, gets reports over every minor issue, and either doesn't think the complaint warrents a punishment or are just sick and tired of seeing them gets my vote.

Just jumping off of this, the big thing with the people who were banned over smaller things is they were big enough streamers to have their stories get media attention. One of Phil's favorite targets, Ninja (I think?), was in hot water awhile back for making a comment about not wanting to stream with women because he didn't want rumors to fly. He managed to smooth it over, but if he handled that poorly, he would have been banned because it is bad PR for Twitch. Same deal with the "there's only two genders" streamer whose name I can't remember, except they didn't have a good enough followup to avoid being banned. It was such a BS reason to get banned, and there's obviously way more "offensive" content being said on Twitch all the time, including by Phil, but they slip through the cracks because nobody big is reporting on it.

It is easy to forget with how big his thread is here, but Phil is primarily a "who?" or "that dude who masturbated a few years ago" to most people. This helps Phil in two primary ways. One is just being small enough to fly under the radar, he's basically the 90's tv equivalent of a local cable access show being aired at 2 in the morning. The station cares way more about their actual network lineup and just sort of shrugs at whatever nonsense he's doing as long as it doesn't drag their name through the mud.

The other way Phil being a nobody helps him is internet media is less big name sites are likely to report on him if something happens because he's too small to care about. "Twitch nobody says bad things" isn't a very clickbaity headline. Big name streamers get articles because people love stories where someone on top gets torn down for secretly being a bad person. Just look at PewDiePie for the YouTube equivalent of that. Resetera having a thread on Phil is something, but still ultimately too small to gain much notice. It'd take something like Kotaku publishing a story to potentially gain traction.

Realistically, I don't think Phil will ever get his own article unless he does something big like jerking off on stream again, but I could potentially see him being mentioned in a larger article like "10 examples of Twitch allowing problematic behavior on their site. You won't believe #6."

Wow. CodeCastieL taking shots at KingOfGahlf is actually entertaining. What a turnaround after all of his contributions in the past days.

He was yelled at by Phil to stop it immediately, and that he's treading on very thin ice. BTFO again, and he'll be back to cheer more, because he's a simp.
