Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

So, uh, wouldn't acknowledging the service papers arriving - with an extremely lenient interpretation that the courier was mistaken - and bragging about them going to the wrong address count as being aware of the order?

At this point it doesn't really matter. She's been aware of the order for some time but kept dodging service. When the court gets fed up enough to post it to your door that's when they say "Screw it, job's done." As far as the courts are concerned Jamie was served on the 23rd, and no amount of denial from Jamie will change that at this point.

I wouldn't be surprised if both Jamie and Monica's official careers are on their last legs because of this stunt regardless of outcome. They'll be known as the troublemakers who cant keep their mouth shut and bring a bad reputation on any company they deal with and will gladly drag anyone and everyone they can with them to court for their idiocy.
Probably doesn't help that Rial and Marchi are hitting middle age and thus are already replaceable.

Plus they're fat. And there's nothing a 4th Bulma can do that a 5th Bulma can't, except maybe a 5th Bulma might not be as shitty at the whole "not costing Funimation millions of dollars in legal fees and scandals" thing.

I'm assuming that Funi will actually settle first and that is why they are being allowed to wait until after everyone else has filed. They actually have the most to lose because they have NONE of the protections the others have, being a full on business. Its only in their best interest to settle early and Marchi will be on the hook.
Keep in mind, Funi is an LLC. So the owners/opperators are pretty well insulated from damages. What's at-stake is the company's survival. But it's not as if the people making the executive decisions are in any great jeopardy.

Considering they'd rather score woke points than just run a successful business, and given their GlassDoor reviews, I wouldn't put it past management to cut themselves some fat bonus checks, retire, and throw everyone else under the bus.

I guess time will tell if the shotcallers at Funi actually have a passion for their craft.

Is there a way we can like....report her to law enforcement or township ppl for this?

She's really revealed her true colors throughout the whole situation. Such a nasty woman.

Civil cases don't work that way sadly. Also the bitch is scared of being humiliated on the stand against a "subhuman Christian male".

I still don't get why she retorted to threats on Twitter. Like if I was raped I wouldn't be admitting to violence against him on a public forum like Twitter. Share your experience if you wish, but like.....threatening violence on Twitter is one way to kill your career.

She wanted asspats from the woke crowd. That's all it is.

That'll make Sony feel that much better if shit goes south and they have to write off the 9 figures they spent for that trash fire, certainly.

It wouldn't be worth it to go after guys like Gen Fukunaga anyway; they have the same protections Marchi and the others have regarding asset seizure. Funimation itself has no such protection. It will have to pay up, and its assets can be seized. The same guillotine hangs over the head of Sabat should he ever get sued; his house is safe (as long as its in his name and not under his business), but his business is not. Also, it should be noted that, under Texas law, stocks are considered nonexempt personal property, subject to levies, garnishments, and turnovers, so any stock owned by any of the parties is fair game. Partnerships and LLC interests are subject only to charging orders; that means that if distributions do occur, and only if they occur, then a creditor (in this case, Vic) may attach them.

I have a question:
Is the unredacted document that says Jamie Marchi has been served available to download?
If so, where?

One of the actual lawyers can correct me if I am wrong, but there is technically no document that says she IS served. What there is, is a procedure. Alternate Service is a method of service other than handing the papers to the person themselves. Once the judge signs off on it, the person is considered served from the point of alternate service on.

What's Sabat's dox?

I'll pull his property records right now if I had it.

What's Sabat's dox?

Here's a link to it:

Then what's this?

I want the full unredacted version.

That's not how civil cases work and this has been explained numerous times over half a dozen threads. Marchi is not under any threat of being found in contempt at this point. This has been explained numerous times in a half dozen threads. A judge might give someone some slack or a "get out the stupid situation I fucked myself into" especially if they're new to civil litigation, but she has likely trashed any good will a judge would have. At this point I can't believe it that is by anything but design. It might just be that she's being a cunty brat because that is who she is, but she is purposefully antagonizing the court for some reason.
What about perjury? last I checked, perjury in any court would, depending on the judge, earn you a trip to jail. Further, since discovery and witness testimony are under threat of perjury.... yeah.

I sincerely hope Jamie is strong under pressure. Would be a shame if a certain beard could get her on the stand/in deposition for hours and grill her on every minute of this particular set of weeks.
