I remember she said she wanted a kid that has her blood. Mmm... I think she wanted that probably because she wanted to impress her family, as in "look, you can't ignore your grandson/girl". Reminds of a girl I knew who got pregnant and was praying the kid was a boy because then her father would forgive her and accept them both. Kinda shitty to use a kid as a leverage if that's the case.

I think the healthiest thing to do, considering Blaire wants (allegedly) a kid that much, is to adopt one. I mean, if there is a child alive already that has been abandoned and needs real love, she can give the kid that instead of bringing a new life because at least some innocent kid could have someone who loves them and gives them some protection and caring.

I thought it was just because Blaire's father passed away at a young age from Cancer. Losing a parent at a young age could give anyone issues. This is the first I've heard details on the father. I vaguely remember Blaire saying the dad didn't even know she was trans.

She was trying to frame it her issues came from her father dying which I'm sure is part of the reason but the real reason was that her father didn't accept her when he was a gender nonconforming guy (the long hair and most likely his personality). I don't think he was alive when she started transition but it's the rest of his side of the family who wanted nothing to do with her. So it's like her father couldn't accept her as a feminine gay boy and her family cannot accept her as a transwoman. Double whammy for sure but she does have her mom/mom's side and Joey's family so she's in a lot better place than other people in a position like her's.

Yep I was surprised too but as soon as I heard that voice, I knew it was Blaire. It's funny because back in 2017 when people found her old channel and were brining it up, she was denying it so much lol.

I have a side of my family who is like that to me and they don't even know I'm trans yet. At some point, you just have to say fuck it and be grateful for what family you do still have.

No, her dad was already dead when Blaire began her transition. Blaire said that she waited for a year and a half after his death before announcing her intent to transition to her mother because she felt that losing a husband and on top of that losing a son would be too much for her mother to handle at once. Blaire talks about it in this part of her collab video with Shane Dawson:

Blaire: 5 years ago.

Blaire: 24 (this was in 201

Shane: You were 19... were you already transitioning?

Blaire: I was about to. I was considering it. And then he died and then I didn't want to do that to my mom, like, right after, you know? So I put it off for another year and a half or so and then I slowly got into it. I would have done it sooner but... I don't know, life.

That's an interesting thought. I don't know much about Blaire's past besides hints made in past videos. I do wonder what the father thought in the "scene kid" part of Blaire's life. Because the father had to have thoughts on that during that time. Most parents would.
I could see the family being turned off because Blaire is the type of person who starts drama and starts trouble- and maybe they don't want anything to do with an attention whore who's made scenes.

In that weight loss video, Blaire basically says when and for how long she hikes Runyon and how far it is from her house by foot. I can't figure out if she's still somehow a naive idiot (seems impossible after years on YT/social media as a "conservative tranny") or purposely wants to increase the chance of running into people who will harass or confront her. Seems careless to me either way.
