Nah, other way around when you look at the statistics. Probably due to paternal age. It's prevalent among tech workers because you have 30+ year old guys who decided that they wanted a career before they wanted a family. You see high autism rates in San Fran but not so much in your country holler when people are having babies just out of high school (or in high school.)

Autism is not very well understood but we're getting close to figuring out what the hell is going on. It's also a brain development disorder so there's not going to be any sort of "cure" for autism. Your frontal lobe done got messed in utero woops

These numbers don't actually say anything. 0.3% is the number for troons, so you've got X in M and M in general pop. You need to compare X in M vs X in general pop:
7.8% of troons are autists
1.7% of Americans are autists

or, alternatively,
0.3% of Americans are troons
N% of autists are troons (unfortunately, no good firsthand data is available for that figure; John Strang here is a lying cunt. It can of course be derived from the other figures using Bayes' theorem.)

Maybe those numbers are old, from before the social contagion started. In Britain, a third of kids being referred to a gender clinic showed ‘moderate or severe autistic traits.' A teacher claimed that the majority of trans kids at her school are autistic.
