There's a nonzero chance that's what happened, since troll turf wars have occurred before. That said, I think it's just as likely that Chris blindsided them by ignoring them and going back to MKR because she's spewing more delusion-enabling shit about the merge or whatever. I think Sarah and Steve were counting on Chris feeling gratitude toward them for giving him all that stuff. Apparently they missed the memo about Chris's staggering level of entitlement and his inability to be sincerely grateful when people give him gifts.

These people need to take a page from Wise and Boyd's playbook. Chris is hooked if you feed into his delusions. At one point it was if you pretended to be a boyfriend free girl. Another was if you pretended to be someone from Nintedo. Now that it's all been played out, he seems to just want to talk to people who believe in his headcanon. One of the wranglers, maybe Captain, said there were times he could only get Chris to believe him so he could help him by playing into his craziness. Cap eventually said it wasn't worth it as it just validated it. Chris is happy to accept your money or gifts (which he'll criticize) and give you about 20 minutes of his attention. He doesn't care if you are looking out for him, he wants to play pretend and most of the people willing to do that aren't there to do good for him.

People keep learning that you don't give Chris things and expect kidness or a good feeling, yet there's always another idiot lined up to try.

Yep still looks like a shitty movie even with a new Sonic model (I realize it's fan made). I don't think there is a way to make a Sonic the hedgehog movie with out it looking like uncanny valley garbage.

Problem is, he’s look a bit weird with Jim Carrey. Also most spergs who made “redesigns” for the Sonic movie on twitter, their designs will not absolutely work in a 3D/live action environment. They’re design is too 2d oriented.
