Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

I want someone to challenge a lot of these laws in California.

This is the example that pops out in my mind.

Republicans winning seats and then all of a sudden, hey look we found votes! Boy aren't the democrats really good at those get someone else to vo-I mean get out the vote drives!

Utter trash. Everyday that passes I find new reasons to loathe that state and the people in it. At this point I'm absolutely convinced that California is being arranged to have its vote counts utterly inflated to 3rd world degrees in order to facilitate that popular vote compact. Can't lose a popular vote if you stuff the ballots can you?

Jesus the more I think of it the more appalled I get. It was inconsequential to me when they were letting illegals vote in their elections because it only affected their elections. I was breathing a sigh of relief that it looked like the 2020 census not counting illegals would keep California from adding a comical number of electoral votes to the state. But this interstate popular vote compact in addition to the way California has been arranging itself to just stuff millions upon millions of illegitimate votes for one party is horrific. God I hope I'm wrong because this is true civil war threatening shit.
I wouldn't worry about the vaunted Popular Vote Compact, at least not for 2020.
It's a little appreciated fact but Democrats did awful in State Legislative elections year.
They have nowhere near enough power to change the map in any significant way. Colorado joined the Compact and Nevada tried to but their Governor was surprisingly far sighted/sane and vetoed it.
Other than those two there are no other States where they can force the Compact through.
The only drama that will result from the Compact next year is is if Trump wins Colorado and Colorado Dems decide to raise a fuss to please their California Overlords. Other than that nothings gonna come of it.
Although you should still absolutely be on the lookout for bullshit like that in the future.

That's not new. The 2000 election in Florida was when we first noticed. They kept recounting and recounting and oh look a whole closet full of ballots we didn't count and they're all for Gore whodathunk so let's add 'em in this time.
And then Al Gore still lost.

BTFO'd so hard you could see it from space.

I literally had the same reaction. Get out of my head!

How is the dark tower a classic? It wasn't bad, but it's not that old, is it? Oh god, am I old?‽ It is still 1995, is it not?

King started writing the early drafts for The Dark Tower as far back as the late 60s when he was a student. He talks about it in On Writing.
