Victor Mignogna v. Funimation Productions, LLC, et al. (2019) - Vic's lawsuit against Funimation, VAs, and others, for over a million dollars.

She may just be the only person there who can do screen shots and preserve things and not completely boomer it up.

I’m thinking the last thing you would want to do as a defending attorney, would be to send the Judge links to a video website, where another lawyer is forensically analyzing just how big of an incompetent fuckup you yourself are, as a lawyer, with regard to the very case you are trying. “Your Honor, I would like to schedule a private meeting with you whereby I can prove to you just how fucking incompetent I am. No wait here’s a better idea. Here’s a podcast explaining it all that you can listen to on the way home.”

Why Would You Fucking Do This?‽
b-b-but he says the BAD words! a-a-and he thinks the wrong THINK! On the INTERNET no less! Surely, judges care deeply about crap like that, and not the substance of the claims!

Shane is claiming that Casey and MoRonica supposedly showed up and waited around today for Vic to come be deposed. Wow! Talk about idiotic and expensive passive aggressive Grandstanding.

Considering the cancelled deposition was to be at BHBH's office, I doubt they'd be allowed to wait around. They'd be told to take a hike.

This is assuming that Shane is telling the truth

This has to be the first normal, non-insane thing filed by an adverse party in the case that doesn't cause you to wonder what the fuck is this thing?

I wonder how long it will take the Judge to think to himself....."hmmm, Ty Beard and John Volney seem to be able to hash out procedural matters amongst themselves, WTF is Casey Erick's problem?"

About as long as it takes him to reach paragraph 3 in Casey’s initial response filing.

Not sure if this has been posted, but Funimation's Notice of Filing Rule 11 Agreement is up.

"I look forward to working with you" - Ty staying good on his word of treating the opposing counsel as good as they let him, total class act. Shame another lawyer involved is turning out to be quite the lolcow himself, I'm sure Ty would rather not have to deal with yet one more lunatic.

Does anyone have a link to the streams they cited? I'd like to remember what stream it is so I can see exactly what they're insisting the Judge watch.

I think Casey is trying to point to Nick’s “Fear the Beard” t-shirt merch. But he links the whole bloody channel. Which is spectacular. I don’t think I have ever seen a Lawyer submit outside third party expert testimony as to their own personal incompetence, and their clients stupidity, as part of their opening moves before? Is this some bold new legal tactic?

It's at the end of the exhibits in the last motion filing. There is a screenshot of Nick's youtube channel and and one of an ad for Fear the Beard merch on his channel. The only videos were embedded in an article that was cited. Casey asking the judge to watch videos was just some shitposting

What if ... since Casey probably can't say it himself ... he's trying to tell the court that he has pants-on-fire-exceptional clients in a roundabout way? 🤔

Pretty much. If you look at all of the motions they've filed so far, you can see the disconnection between Casey and his clients in certain sections.

It starts out with what MoRon wants to do or say and Casey just fills in the cracks with whatever he can. Trying to add Nick probably wasn't Casey's idea, remember that MoRon/Kickvic has been babbling about this for awhile.

MoRon is driving the case, not Casey. He's seems to only be there as a paid advisor to these idiots who think they know the law.

.......
Did they assume the date didn’t change? Are they not keeping abreast of this? Are they not checking their mail or some shit? I know people initially thought LanDUI was just signing George’s shit for the judge before things were made more clear. I’m wondering the same thing here.

To be honest if they did go the BHBH (with Casey) it would be quite spectacular considering disposition is currently on hold for the time being. To me it would also seem more like MoRon and MoRonica are calling the shots and not Casey considering Casey knew there was no disposition tell after court rulings.

Of course MoRon didn't show up with Casey because then Ty would just say to Casey " Well Vic isn't here, but your clients are. And since you have the stengrapher and camera crew all ready to go why don't we just get the depos of YOUR clients out of the way ."
