Don't think so, the one guy who Kiwis know to live in Texas unfortunately lives on the other side of Texas, and is not driving 16+ hours for what could be a quick 10-20 minute dressing down by the judge and being told to stop screwing around and setting a date.
Edit: Switch that to maybe. One Kiwi lives close, but depends on their morning schedule/availability.

Several of us live in Houston which is only 4 hours from DFW and I'll be in Dallas today but I'll be too busy to attend.

That’s the hilarious thing. Shane walking into a small dull procedural hearing on a civil matter, just to “watch and report” would seem to be the perfect way to get the Judge to approve the Motion to keep Depositions Confidential.
