this would be a stigma (stigmata is plural) and it refers to having a physical manifestation on ones' body of Jesus's crucifixion wounds, in this case the nails through his hands. it has a lot of association with fakers especially in the 20th/21st century.

Schizophrenics don't get asspats and the medication causes weight gain, so my guess is none would seek the diagnosis (tho it might be legit in some cases).

Long time lurker, first time poster. Sorry if this comes off as a lot of powerleveling. Also, if anyone has any good thread suggestions, let me know.

To Crunchy Leaf's question above, I can speak to permanent conditions that I believe are a direct result of my idiocy with eating disorders (which I still suffer from). Also, after reading all 116 pages, I can say that I damn near became a Munchie myself and definitely had some tendencies up until a couple years ago. This thread has just reinforced my shift to overall secrecy about everything in my life. So thank you Kiwi Farms for preventing me from becoming a lolcow myself.

I have a heart condition very similar to POTS (but I didn't meet the diagnostic criteria after a holter monitor test, stress test, and tilt table test, which is boring as hell unless you pass out or stop the test) that I'm almost sure was caused by my use of diet pills. I can get dizzy very easily and the slightest bit of exertion makes my heart rate skyrocket and not come down as quickly as in a healthy person. My heart never had any problems prior to my misuse of diet pills and based on the likely onset of the condition, it has to be because of my eating disorders. I might have GI issues also due to an eating disorder. But that could also be due to me being significantly overweight at the moment and my anxiety causing its own set of issues. But I can absolutely say that getting proper treatment for my mental health disorders has helped my health a lot and I live a much better life than I did a few years ago.

Edit: I am fully willing to answer questions people have. I am so glad I found a forum that allows me to feel free to say my true thoughts rather than keep my mouth shut all the time.

I don't think it was Morgan posting on this thread, it's not a new account, but I wonder if Morgan googled herself and found the pages on the thread where she was discussed or if she trawled through 20 pages before her name even came up. I have some comments though; she specifically puts on a weirder more annoying voice when talking about her illnesses, it becomes more normal when she's talking about stuff she's interested in like her dreams and dolls (video 4). She filmed herself having a seizure (video 2) and actually states that she was reading about seizures online before she started having it. She never sleeps because she's allergic to sleeping in the dark (video 1). Now I know restless leg syndrome is a thing but what she's claiming sounds ridiculous. I personally think if she uploaded a video saying that she doesn't sleep because she is getting abducted by aliens would be more believable if only because she is clearly trying to portray herself as a space cadet weirdo.

Wow, she went from not bothered to chimp out at the speed of light. She clearly missed the beginning of the thread with all the power levelling, many of the Kiwis that post in this thread in particular are in suffering from chronic illnesses etc or are in the medical profession. Which kind of answers my previous question, she is obviously only looking for her own name rather than going through the whole thread.

Does anyone know who's post that one was? I find it so funny that she picked one of the few mad at the internet posts out of everything that was said about her to post with her sperging as if the whole thread is filled with posts so passionately against her carry on.

What diet pills? An ephedrine/caffeine mix? That's pretty cardiotoxic.

The good news is that you can heal your heart through gentle exercise. It usually resolves. Work with a PT, though.
