I agree with others who have said that Labelle's old art, while still not good, has more charm to it. These new comics are just plain bad. He's trying to be funny with these exaggerated expressions, but they're so tryhard, it's disturbing instead. And his linework and coloring is so gross. Like, it goes beyond lazy and gives off this creepy vibe. Handwriting analysis is one thing, there's a lot you can pick up on from artwork analysis.

It’s quite interesting. Charles M Schultz’ art became looser and more abstract as he went, but that was because his skills improved to the point where he could clearly express himself with a few lines. That’s not what happened with Billy. If anything, the art has become less clear, with bizarre facial expressions and movements that don’t match what the characters are saying.
