I've been trying to nail his dox down. I know he lives in New Jersey and whitepages (whitepages just isn't enough) points towards Monmouth Junction and I've been building off of that with no success. However, I did find out that his wife's name is Meredith thanks to his bio on Kanzenshuu and the TFS wiki. From simple math from his bio, he was born in 1982.

Before any of those stories would be useful to the defendants' lawyers, it would need to be established that both Vic and the accusers were at the cons mentioned. Unless both of those things can be proven, the rest of the poster's claims are irrelevant. Vic's attendance or absence can be verified by both his own records and records maintained by the cons, as well as contemporaneous external records. The poster's attendance might be harder to prove unless they have photographic evidence of attendance. Merely buying a ticket is not evidence of attendance.

"Gotcha" games on the internet prove nothing. The only "game" which matters is the one playing out in court and right now only the parties themselves and their lawyers know what can actually be proven.

While this is true and a sensible position to hold, I don't believe Vic is innocent simply because people on the internet say so. I believe it because not a single one of the claims made against him either match the level of assault, or have been actively debunked. Not one. When this first started, people here presumed Vic was guilty because of the amount of rumours and accusations that were being bandied about. It was presumed that the sheer number of claims meant there must be something to them. But as time went on and the usual digging was done, all substance to all of the accusations fell away. None of them had anything to support them, and most of them were demonstrably lies.

The few stories that were trotted out time and again as their strongest evidence didn't hold up, and now every single time the anti-Vic side is asked for this information they talk about mountains of evidence, dozens of claims, years of accusations ... and no actual, specific event. The best they have, the absolute strongest cases they've made against him, are that he's a hugger, and that at vague, unspecified times he has made a couple of his coworkers uncomfortable (but not in a way that constitutes assault, or even most definitions of harassment).

The few times they don't get huffy about believing victims and actually put up this evidence they gloat about, all they have are anonymous forums and Tumblr posts (which are, yes, also mostly 'friend of a friend' posts, despite what PULL says) which not only are inadmissible, but also have the authenticity of a burn book.

So I don't expect swift justice, but I do have a preferred outcome. Because the Farms is big on evidence, and all the evidence - all of it - points to this being a smear job directed at a man who is likely not a saint, but is not at all the rapist/pedophile/homophobe/molester/creeper they say he is. Not only that, but there's evidence to suggest that it all came to head due to jealousy, greed and for personal gain.

So, yes. We don't have all the facts. But the facts we do have - and that this information that will 'blow the case wide open and make everyone see Vic is a monster' apparently was important enough to share on Twitter in February, but once it was disproven and the courts became involved is suddenly something only shareable through proper legal channels - are overwhelmingly pro-Vic. So I am as well.

The person who posted the Dragon Con story was pro-Vic but it doesn't matter - he wasn't at that con anymore than he was at the other two cons which "accusers" posted stories about.

Last year, I got so upset by one of these rumors about me being drunk. Now, how many cameras and videos are at an anime convention? Hundreds, right? At least. Hundreds. If I am drunk and stumbling around as much as they say, how come there's no video? Everyone's shooting video all the time, but there isn't any.

So, you know what I did one time? I had a friend of mine go on one of these websites and say, "You guys are being hurtful and cruel and lying and I challenge anyone to produce any video evidence of Vic being drunk at all and I'll give you hundred dollars" and I've literally set up a PayPal account. You remember this? I set up a PayPal account called VicIsADrunk.com. I did it. And I put a hundred bucks of my own money in there and it's still there because there isn't any video evidence. It's never happened. Do you see how fun this is? You're offering someone a hundred bucks and there is no proof. They have no proof. They just like to say mean things about people.
