The Hulu videos are all broken because Hulu is membership-only now and they might not even have some of this content anymore. A lot of the Crunchyroll links still work because that stuff is still available to stream on their site after all these years. The embeds do show Crunchyroll ads, provided there is one to play and your ad blocker is turned off. There are no links to videos on Funimation's streaming service because it did not exist when this section of ANN stopped being updated.

Interesting to note is adblock does not work on CR's site, but it does on ANN's embeds. So it's a nice way to circumvent the ads. I tried to watch the same episode on both sites and only got ads on the CR one

According to Geekdom, other dubbing production companies have been given details on 2per but not FUNI. Which is pretty weird given that Funimation is probably the biggest dubbing company for Dragon Ball.

Guy needs to write himself a script or some prompt cards to stay on topic and then edit the fucker down. That's the thing that gets my golat about all these youtubers (even Nick to a degree): they ramble. They go off on tangents. They meander around the topic. I don't want to hear about the quiet sunday you were planning before you were forced to make this video and I don't want to hear about whatever random thought just popped into your head that'll take you on a tangent for the next fifteen minutes. Get to the point.

Nick's streams are great but it does take him a million years to get a sentence out. Between tangents or stopping every two words to sip whiskey and then talk about whiskey for 5 minutes or munch on something it feels like 30 minutes before he finishes a point he started making.

I don't see a world in which he loses against the defendants. But if there were, what comes out in discovery that shows what MoRon and Co. have been spouting and repeating have been baseless rumors would be worth it for Vic. Nick has mentioned that sometimes it's not all about winning.

All the spergouts that have come out without even getting even foot deep into the legal process says that it has been money well spent at least to me.

It depends on the intentions of the people who donated.
I'm sure the fans of his who donated would be devastated.
Donors who believe that a person's life should not be dictated by the Court of Public Opinion probably are satisfied that this issue at least made it to a real courtroom.
The "innocent until proven guilty" crowd will be satisfied.

Yes, in large part because it will have assigned a high cost to the Social Justice MeToo mean girls. That’s always been the problem with the ideological infestations of communities and industries by the oppression pimps. There is never a cost assigned to doing what they demand. Businesses calculate that opposing them leads to loud bad Pr, while going along with them has no negative consequences. Even if, in the case of Vic, it destroys someone’s life.

But suddenly this calculus has started to change. Funimation is taking a business hit. Has to hire outside council to defend their knuckling under to the extortionist demands. Proctor & Gamble is watching one of their oldest and most respected brands go down in flames because they bowed to insanity. WaPo and other media outlets are suddenly facing multiple well financed, lawsuits regarding their defamatory name and shame tactics of yellow journalism. It doesn’t matter if these lawsuits win. The damage to the media and the costs associated will be high.

Vic May or may not get enough to retire out of this. My money is on Funi settles, Marchi can go either way, and Moronica are complete toast. Ron’s actions are indefensible in court. Ron’s only hope is to settle. But he has made that nearly impossible, and Vic has no reason to settle.

no. it would be the polar opposite: the message that a vic loss would send out into the world is that trying to fight this kind of smear campaign in court is hopeless, even with a six figure war chest. it would prove beyond doubt that the 'right side of history' is in firm control of the judicial system, and trying to defend yourself against them by legal means is a fruitless endeavor.

Does open up the "if I am going to die, may as well take the bastards with me" avenue if due process and rule of law is no longer an option.
