Actually, it IS really fucking weird that this dude's shitty KYM posts are the only Vic Mignogna story I've seen on my Google News feed. It's also the only time I can think of that anything from KYM has shown up on it.

There are undoubtedly people giving Casey information just as there are people giving Ty information. It's not being "two-faced". It's taking the path of least resistance in a battle which isn't yours. A whole lot of people are going to have to provide information as this plays out, whether they want to or not.

You start out with a liar, Casey, who was actually there, and had motivation to portray it in as favorable a light as possible to his client, Ron, who is a liar and also a complete moron. So it got garbled and distorted twice, before being filtered through Shane, who is possibly the dumbest man in the world, and then shat out onto his Twitter feed.

Honestly, if you're waiting for information at all, you should entirely ignore Shane, because by the time it gets to you it's literally fourth-hand and every single hand along the way is either a liar, dumb as dogshit, or both.

From memory Ron had to hand over all communications in which Vic is mentioned, going back several years. Whether those are texts, emails, or DMs, I'm sure at least some of his communications with Shane specifically mention Vic.

A likely discovery tactic I've seen is to do a "worked-shoot" (for lack of a better term) ommission. Turn over tweets, wait for the other party to file a motion citing incomplete discovery. They then say "oh, our bad, we didnt know you wanted those too" then turn the other records over. Buys time. Only works if the request is vague like "turn over your twitter records" where they can say they thought they just wanted tweets. If tweets, retweets, and dms are specifically requested its hard to get away with it.

She really needs a hobby besides being an attention whore, which she is one on Twitter, YouTube, ResetEra and PULL. Even though she's got her own KiwiFarms account that she hasn't used in a long time. I'm surprised that majority of people didn't know her until the KickVic thing started. I didn't know anything about her until I found out she is the one that created the hashtag from other people. Nobody else started that hashtag but her.

She's doing the PULLgirl routine of either asserting something as if there's substantial evidence to back up the statement or asserting that there's substantial evidence to back up whatever baseless statement she's making, but she doesn't have the charisma or vitriol to stand her ground, so she tries to pretend as if she wasn't just trying to impugn someone's reputation by means of trying to say that she's not trying to convince people of the validity of a statement that would only ever matter because of its truth value.

That's actually so childish that I'm surprised that her fanbase and Twitter (the company) haven't already been v& for possession of CP, but then again, with how spineless she is I don't think the FBI would be able to recognize that she's not a cephalopod.

She doesn't even understand the whole point of confidentiality-- it's not the information that needs to be kept confidential as per the request of the messenger, but the identity of the messenger. If the latter is inextricable from the former, then, yeah, by that, the information should be kept confidential as a courtesy, but not because of the information itself. Otherwise, the trustworthiness of the information is-- for other hearers-- verified by the trustworthiness of the person who relays it. The real concern is whether or not people trust Rei enough for her to say these things and be taken at anywhere near face value, but this very display incidentally damages that power greatly.
