Jon had the gall to say that maybe you shouldn't call white people racist if they don't like the idea of becoming a minority due to mass immigration into their country. Even poorly explained (which Jon admitted it was numerous times afterwards) anyone with a brain between their ears knew the broader point he was getting at but these are REEtards we're talking about and all they heard is that Jon wanted to pick up where Hitler left off.

Really though I think their obsession with him comes simply down to being sore losers. They spent months screeching about Jon trying to get him erased from the internet but what happened instead is that he released the original flex tape video and it went viral. Not only do they have to deal with the fact no one really gives a shit about their screaming but also that Jon probably made some decent cash from that one video alone at a time they were trying to make the man homeless.

There's also the matter that their last outrage campaign on NeoGAF was trying to get Jon removed from A Hat in Time. Rather than bow to their demands and remove him like Yooka-Laylee's developers did, the developers for AHIT pretty much ignored their cries and kept Jon (the fact that the game was much better received than Y-L makes it even sweeter). To say they were pissed was an understatement, and it served as a fitting lead up to the site's implosion a couple of weeks later.

So, I guess you can say that Jon is a living testament to their failures, and that makes them hate him even more.

Well, Ladiva (or Fastiva in Japanese) is kinda a vague case. If you look up some Ladiva artwork or video, some of Ladiva's poses and manner are quite girly. In Japanese audio, Ladiva uses 'atashi' which is a feminine first pronoun for 'I' in English. In game mechanic, Ladiva's gender is considered neither male or female.
Then again, in Japanese media, they sometimes portray muscular and macho-look men are effeminate gay men. For example Puri Puri Prisoner in One Punch Man, Chosen and Himiko in Koihime (you probably don't wanna google the last two, but they are gender bend version of fictional Chinese female characters).

So I'm kinda questioning how deep on trannydom this game even goes. Like, a bunch of twitter idiots are all going "YASSS QUEEN SLAY" because they got "representation" but does the game, in English or Japanese, ever explicitly admit this or is this just some invention of PR?

It's people like you, and society, that drove one of my oldest friends into suicide. He was a good and charitable man, would never hurt a fly. He even had a romantic relationship with a petite woman his age (23) that was very supportive of his issue and they planned to get married. He killed himself because of fear, the fear of society and the fear of harming his own future children. He went to every damn therapist in the state of Massachusetts as he could and most of them just called the police even though he was looking for help.

You people disgust me. These people, these human beings, are living in fear, many would never harm a child in their life, and many of them want help, real help. I am a victim of child molestation, I still have PTSD over it, but even I can sympathize with pedophiles who do their hardest to be functional members of society while society decided to hold a knife around their neck and will cut it at the slightest mention of their issue.

I'm going to add this right now that he wasn't afraid of sexually harming them, as he was pretty happy with his soon-to-be wife and did his best to control his urges, but rather on how the world would treat them and his family because of his condition. The constant harassment from the police and child services would drive him insane and tear his family apart.

Read my post after that, his fear was not that he would harm his own children sexually, but rather child services and the police would constantly harass him and his family because of who he is and try to split them apart. Such thoughts were hell to him.

He was in no way at risk of committing any sort of pedophilic crime, he just had uneasy thoughts and was scared about them. I've seen the way he was around children, he's acted in a very appropriate way.

The man was taken to the police station multiple times because he actively tried to seek help from therapists about his issue. He was scared that they placed him under some intense watch and if he were to have children, they would take them away from him. He became paranoid as you can tell.

Because you are looking at this as a black and white issue. Are you a terrible person for not sympathizing with them? No, I wouldn't say that, but I would say you never met a pedophile and developed a friendship with them. You don't understand what a true pedophile is and what it means to be one. They are real people, with real goals and achievements, they want a happy life, but that one thing is holding them down. The interesting fact is many assume they just want to have sex with children, but the truth is that a lot of them want a consensual relationship with children, hence why killing off the libdo of a pedophile rarely works. There are even such a thing as asexual pedophiles, people who just want a romantic relationship with a child with no desire to have sex.

Should we celebrate these people for resisting their urges? In my opinion, yes, because they're struggling to overcome not only lust and taboo, but also society's label on them as monsters that need to be executed for even having thoughts. In fact, it's that latter that causes most of them to struggle with it. If we live in a world where society was more sympathetic toward pedophiles and accept that it's a psychological condition that needs to be treated, than research would progress, new treatment methods would be discovered, and pedophiles would have a way to help themselves while child sex crime start to dwindle down. In fact, more pedophile would actively seek out help instead of living in fear where the thoughts would fester until they actually commit the crime and/or kill themselves.

The topic here is that we, as a society, needs to stop demonizing and assuming that all pedophiles will always rape children. These are people with a condition that needs help, and demonizing is just going to make things worse.

They actually did just that to some degree in Persona 5.

They also address how lopsided some of the relationships actually are, especially with the older ladies, where THEY are calling the shots, not you, in some scenes (female doctor especially, though Kawakami invokes this to a considerable extent). The cringe factor in the age difference also comes up and is referenced as a major stumbling block to being anything other than extremely discreet on both sides about the whole thing.

Even the relationships with the regular teenage female cast members get some of this. Futaba being a surrogate little sister figure turned love interest is especially called out on how awkward it is, and you have to max out Futaba and Sojiro's trust in you before the latter is mostly okay with the implications.

Ann has already been the target of that creepy asshole Kamoshida, and she makes it pretty clear she wants a relationship on her terms, not yours, which makes perfect sense given how she did not like a guy trying to dominate her sexually at all.

For Ladiva, in game official English translation used 'he' at first then change to 'she' later on. In Ladiva lore page, Japanese text (no English translation yet) seems to take Ladiva being female. In game story, Ladiva only talks about being a duelist and spreading love to everybody. In a cross fate scenario, where one character (Cagliostro) asks whether Ladiva wants to change their body, Ladiva likes the offer but refuses because Ladiva thinks it's a gift from their parents. For game mechanic, Ladiva gives gift to players on both Valentine and White day, don't receive any buffs affecting only on female or male.

The other trannydom character is Cagliostro. Cagliostro is born as male, but he had fragile body as young boy. He studied alchemy and learned how to become immortal. Since he finds girls are cute, he created a young girl artificial body to transfer his soul in. So, he is now a she, has narcissism attitude, likes to act cute in front of strangers and hate being called as uncle by another character.
