Debate the Ethics of Vic Mignogna - TARD FIGHT

Being worth something and having that same money you're worth is totally different, theres plenty of people woth millions and bankrupt.
perfect example of this is a lot of popular youtubers. sure, some actually have a lot of money, but people like the slow mo guys (who i think are valued at $27M), dont actually have anyone near that much money.

Welcome. I am curious what you think Vic apologized for doing? Thanks.
Edit to include: Also, I am not a Vic stan. As far as I know, I have never seen an anime in my life...unless Saturday morning Speed Racer cartoons count? I am here because I saw someone being crucified on Twitter and it raised questions in my mind about the morality and ethics of destroying someones reputation and career all based on mostly anonymous accusations from a Twitter mob.
Vic apologized for making people feel uncomfortable with his actions (Hugging, kissing some on the cheek) that weren't too comfortable with that over display of affection. I don't stand with kickvic much, but I've been hearing more of Standwithvic than Kick, mostly from Youtubers like YellowFlash, Hero Hei and Clownfish along with forneverworld the latter which I follow regularly

YellowFlash is a fagtard and his videos are garbage.

Not Overtly, I don't like how he got people to pay for his lawyer despite the fact that he is worth 4 million dollars. If he was being sued I would have understood the need to defend himself but when he is the one suing it comes off as using your fans.
He didn't ask for the gofundme, Nick set it up himself.
It doesn't matter how much is he worth, a lawsuit costs more than you could ever imagine (and that metric doesn't define how much money does he have anyway).
He's not using the fans, he hasn't asked people to donate to the gofundme, at all. The fans (and other people that are interested in the situation) are donating because they they want to help him sue them. And most important: No one is forcing them to donate, they are doing so out of their own free will.

If you want to discuss all this, you should read the first post in this thread that goes 8nto some detail about such things as the GoFund Me and who the various players are and what is going on. You seem to be uninformed, and it is making you come across poorly.

You'v heard more of the StandWithVick because that side is actually putting their money where there mouth is and WANT updates on every little bit of information, where as the other side is just name calling and regurgitating the same "evidence" fromt he first week, listening and believing with no questioning, because if you question these people you're automatically put in the "you're against us" box, funny that the one side can have civil discussion while the other shit on the man regardless of what comes out, even if he wins this case you can bet your bottom dollar the KickVic crowd will be shitting on him for years to come.

He didn't ask for it/get people to donate. His fans and other neutrals (like ComicsGate) were interested in financially backing him, before he even decided to file a lawsuit. Nick filled that need - Vic didn't want anything to do with it (apparently was uncomfortable with it). Had Vic openly shared it/shilled the GFM, it would've exceeded $200k, long ago.

Edit: more thoughts.
Edit 2: You didn't answer my question, either. Deflecting isn't a good look. 🤔
I did overlook things my apologizes, it was someone else, though he shouldn't have associated himself with the Gofundme. As for the question for where I stand. I think Vic being fired for misconduct was the right thing to do, should they have done it earlier this whole thing wouldn't have escalated as much as it did.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I give people credit for more agency than just passively allowing someone to do something they are "uncomfortable" with. These people stand in line, watch how Vic reacts with fans. They have the opportunity to dip if they are afraid of being touched or using their voice to tell Vic they would prefer not to be touched.
At any rate, I do not think that making people uncomfortable merits being accused of being a predator, a pedo, a sexual harrasser, etc.

His apology was out of guilt because he never intended to make anyone uncomfortable. All the sudden, he had a Twitter mob trying to destroy his life because some people were uncomfortable.

Ill-advised for sure. These people are broken, don't understand that discomfort is to be expected in life. Vic thought he had actually crossed a line because they convinced him he crossed a line. When he realized that an apology was never what they wanted, it was too late. He saw the mob for what it was and what its purpose was - to destroy his life. He could either disappear and probably end up dead, or he could fight back.

He has expressed this in public and private: He never wanted any of this. The mob gave him no other choice.

What do you mean by "he shouldn't have associated himself with the GoFundMe"?

PROVE THE FUCKING MISCONDUCT! THERE WAS NONE! That's gonna come out soon.

Stop trying to be some stupid Reibear type of sperg. Minecraft yourself.

So you think dad jokes while eating jellybeans are fireable offenses? Might as well tattoo "I'm a huge fucking faggot please rape my face" on your forehead now to save anyone the displeasure of listening to you prattle.

Tell Shane he's still a shoe eating groomer and nothing will ever change that.

Except that soye literally has at least 101 actual women Vic raped/molested/gave a noogie.

Not really putting their money where there mouth is, more so that the channels I listed excluding forneverworld who has moved on from the subject, publish content about it almost daily, So they are the louder voice especially on Youtube. I have had many talks with the standwithvic side and it didn't go too well much to my displeasure.

Yeah assets =/= liquid assets.
That value can be tied up in property, for all we know.
I can guarantee that owning a home [in the area of Calif he is living] accounts for much of his personal wealth.

And he did not associate himself with it beyond acknowledging its existence.

So it displeases you that people want justice? It displeases you that people don't agree that a man should lose his career over hugs at conventions (that most VAs do and have done for years and years)? Or that people want credible evidence before passing judgment?

They may be "the louder voice" (which I don't agree with, but whatever), but I can't think of any figureheads of the StandWithVic movement who were calling for violence against KickVic.
