It's probably a blood glucose monitor because Fatty McSnackcakes is too exceptional to manage his diabetes like normal people.

Seems likely since fully-implantable glucose monitors with NFC are a thing.

That's what I thought it might be but his wording is so strange. If that's what it is, it's not something to be proud of, John.

It sounds weird and stilted because he's trying to twist something pitiful into something impressive. The fact that he says it's checking him 24/7 seems telling: they're called continuous glucose monitors.

And, he said his thing is for two weeks only. Diagnostic. Expensive. It's real simple, Health Canada, he's binging on Timbits and Pizza Hut, offshooting his Saxenda and probably insulin and/or not taking his Metformin. This kind of shit makes me really wonder about these proposals to expand government health care or any in the states, this fraud absolutely has to be dealt with before that can happen.

He's trying to engage with Charlotte but she isn't responding.

The best way to respond to attention-seekers such as JY is to deny them unnecessary attention. Let's hope JY takes the hint and leaves her alone if she shows a refusal to engage JY or explicitly asked to be left alone, just as JY demanded others to be left alone.

2) I never thought I'd see the day when kiwifarms members advised one another to abide by the BC Human Rights Code/Tribunal. I recognize the practical points here, in terms of protecting people who would get dinged, and not gifting ammo to Yaniv. But I still don't like the idea of telling anyone to comply with such bullshit, and if people feel they can take the heat, some civil disobedience is justified.

I don't think the entire KF user base is being told to abide by the tribune rulings per se; just those subject to its jurisdiction. Unlike many lolcows that threaten legal action without actually following through, JY is willing to pursue action against those critics from which relief can be sought -- whether its simply having their SM accounts suspended/banned or filing complaints with the tribunal against local critics -- especially those that are unwilling or unable to put up a defense to JY's complaints. As such, those 'Farmers local to JY need to be aware that any type of engagement, even if it's mere civil disobedience, could lead to JY responding with action in return.

While I suspect the Cricket twitter account got suspended for being a bit too persistent in engaging JY, that particular user seemed smart enough to avoid direct confrontation about JY's sordid past and previous identity in using JY's preferred name and pronouns while keeping responses to JY's tweets (the ones posted here anyways) largely on-topic. That may be the best approach for anyone that insists on engaging JY online.

the HRT would have given jonathan a huge judgement if they weren't afraid of how this would make the HRT system look to the public.

Based on my reading of the ruling, it sounded like JY could have received a more favorable ruling had it not been for some key issues:
  • Despite seeking and receiving anonymity, JY has publicly discussed the cases and a private conversation that was to be kept confidential.
  • JY made racially-stereotyped insults of Laser Cut Beauty Salon's legal counsel after JY had claimed that the salon's initial response using ambiguous he/she pronouns was tantamount to misgendering that deserved to be sanctioned by the tribunal.
  • JY's withdrawal of the complaints where the salons responded and showed willingness to defend themselves raised the question whether JY's complaints were filed in good faith.

I know JY is into tech stuff though (case in point, those google glasses). Did he get an implant from some small start-up company?

One one hand, JY is a self-proclaimed tech nerd. So, it wouldn't be surprising if JY was injected with a health-monitoring chip as part of a tech experiment or medical procedure -- assuming that Canadian healthcare uses this kind of medical nanotechnology. On the other hand, JY's exaggerated sense of self-worth and value is such that this could be a wild claim that is unsubstantiated at best and completely false at worst.

It sounds weird and stilted because he's trying to twist something pitiful into something impressive. The fact that he says it's checking him 24/7 seems telling: they're called continuous glucose monitors.

JY's aforementioned tendency to exaggerate really shows here, huh? Leave it up to the PR/spin doctor part of JY to make such an ordinary process seem more impressive than it really is when one considers there have been various continuous health monitors around in some form or another for quite some time. The only aspect that might be revolutionary is that the monitor, if it exists and was administered to JY, was injected into the bloodstream as opposed to being a large bulky device that one would wear externally in the past.

Found this pointed out by a couple of terves on Twitter and I thought it was interesting.

Apparently having a smooth bald pussy is an essential part of being a women and waxing is critical gender affirming care.

You should see the shit prisons are required to provide to tranny criminals to "affirm" their "gender".

Women in prison get very few perks. Makeup is often forbidden, so they create some themselves with whatever's available. Jewelry is typically not allowed, certainly anything that could be used as a weapon. I'm assuming they get granny panties or similar to wear under their uniforms. Prisons are required to provide trannies or let them buy/wear: makeup, jewelry, and women's underwear. Recently, some tranny prisoners threw a fit because the prison laundry wasn't fit for washing delicates, so they definitely get frilly underwear, not basic cotton.

I don't see why anyone thinks Devyn is orchestrating any fairer of a process. Her previous rulings whine pityingly about how JY is self-represented and the other side (Poyer) got a lawyer. She's rapidly scheduled seven complaints for the next couple months making it harder for them to bring lawyers, because in Devyn's starry world, it's most "fair" when it's some East Indian immigrant woman only coming to her against JY, who's been contacting her ex-parte for months and bragging to Oger. JY's made international media several times over, he's Streisanded himself maximally with the TOL appearances, MissBC, his public musings on Twitter and FB, so now she's treating him like a celebrity with a rape claim. She's going on about how the issue of ballwaxing MTFs is of significant public interest but has closed off the proceedings and Canadian media from talking about them. She sounds Mad at the Internet for leaking JY's name, and now that it's all over the UK and US media and fb and twitter, she's still insisting that Canada itself be an info silo. We have focused on JY here, but there's also a greater story with her and her ethics in even being involved at this point.

@Kiwi Lime Pie JY has railed about how the Internet isn't censoring Canadians enough when in fact the censorship practiced by US-based social media has been entirely voluntary. There's no US law that says that they or any American site/platform have to enforce a draconian edict inflicted by a quasi-court in British Columbia--they just prefer to. KF is American and doesn't prefer to, rather it allows people from all over the world including Canada to post.

That said, from having seen the Christchurch drama play out and NZ's shittiness toward Null, I'd suggest everyone who's contributed significantly here, especially if they are Canadian, to get a protonmail account and change the email associated to the kf account to it.

FINAL ETA: Jess is back interacting w/terves regarding Devyn's decision. http://archive.is/d6s82

I'm amazed that JY thinks a ballwaxing is necessary to affirm his gender and that the tribunal thinks this is an important matter to settle, for all sorts of various reasons;

- I would say that the vast majority of Canadian women do not have to wax their testicles to affirm their genders.
- Women practice lots of different grooming methods, you don't need a Brazilian wax to feel like a natural born woman.
- JY lives close to Vancouver, a huge city with a significant population of queer people. If he had asked around, I'm sure someone somewhere has a specialty in all-genders/all-genitals waxing. There are entire neighbourhoods in Vancouver where every business has a rainbow sticker in the window; I'm sure he could hit Davie Street or Commercial Drive and find something.
- Travelling to Vancouver for this wouldn't impose a significant hardship compared to every other woman, because LOTS of women will travel to go see a specific hairstylist/manicurist/waxer/etc if there is an exact service they need and someone who is an expert in the thing that they do. For example, plenty of Black people in the lower mainland would rather travel specifically to Vancouver to visit a Black-owned salon rather than risk having their hair fucked up by a hairstylist who has no experience with their hair texture.

Somewhat related note, a lot of the South Asian people in the lower mainland are Sikh, but there's also a significant population of Muslim people and a lot of them abide by religious constraints against touching people of the opposite sex that they aren't related or married to. So if you go to a Muslim owned salon and you are a man, you have to wait to see their male barber. If you go to a Muslim barber shop as a female, they will refer you to their female hairdresser. If you have balls and are trying to get a Muslim lady to wax them, you're going to end up with a case of trans rights butting up against religious rights.

Furthermore, a lot of people in the lower mainland run businesses out of their homes. So it's not like going to the mall; a lot of people are cutting hair and waxing eyebrows and stuff in their own living rooms. (I have no idea how legal that is.) But surely people who are selling a service at least have the right to decide to refuse to allow someone into their home, especially if that person gives off uncanny valley vibes that give you the creeps.

I don't see why anyone thinks Devyn is orchestrating any fairer of a process.

If it's true that JY contacted Devyn ex parte about the former's alleged depression/suicidal thoughts, that certainly comes across as a conflict of interests that i brought up. TBH, I think the most recent decision is only as balanced as it is because JY couldn't keep quiet about the case(s) that were filed against the salons. Given that the ruling asserts that genital waxing is "gender affirming", I suspect the tribunal may have tipped its hand as to how it would rule if JY were to pursue any of the remaining cases. *sigh*

JY has railed about how the Internet isn't censoring Canadians enough when in fact the censorship practiced by US-based social media has been entirely voluntary. There's no US law that says that they or any American site/platform have to enforce a draconian edict inflicted by a quasi-court in British Columbia--they just prefer to.

(American-based) Social media has been riding the pro-gender identity bandwagon; two big examples that come to mind are Facebook expanding its list of genders to accommodate those that don't want to select male or female, and Twitter updating its TOS to prohibit so-called dead-naming and another behavior it would deem to be anti LGBTetc harassment -- all to keep a minuscule minority of its users happy. Hand in hand with those, it's unfortunately not surprising they'd enforce a BCHRT ruling whereas the average users that complain about harassment that crosses jurisdictional boundaries are pretty much told they're out of luck unless it explicitly violates one of the many ambiguous items on the TOS that are subjective at best when read through carefully.

It's not surprising that the sordid details of JY's life is something JY would want censored. Even if JY didn't have a background in PR, the transgendered cows on this site (including JY) tend to do anything they can -- proper or not -- to suppress online content that hurts their feelings or brings up unsavory details of their past light from being published. In their cries of oppression, they turn around and oppress those that diagree with them with the same targeted harassment they're quick to report to social media abuse desks.

Furthermore, a lot of people in the lower mainland run businesses out of their homes. So it's not like going to the mall; a lot of people are cutting hair and waxing eyebrows and stuff in their own living rooms. (I have no idea how legal that is.)

Legality of home-based businesses varies by locale. A city might allow someone with the proper credentials to perform haircuts and such out of their home while the adjoining municipality may prohibit it. Given the increasing number of weird people looking for business services, though, working out of one's home might not be as good of an idea as it once was.

If no one shows up to his birthday party, will he sue Olive Garden?

Only if they don't butter his bread sticks.
