I still don't understand why Holden treats women like one singular entity.... each person (man or woman) is their own singular identity. No two people, even twins, are the same.

There are some women who prefer wealthy men over all
There are some women who prefer pretty men over all
There are some women who don't care about money or wealth, they just want a provider who respects them
There are women who, against their will/want, are with an abusive partner. Usually for self-esteem reasons. The poor dears.
There are women who prefer super fat men. It's what they like.
There are women who prefer fit men.
Some women care about looks.
Some women care about personality.
Some women are smart
Some women are not so smart
Some women are pretty
Some women are not so pretty
Many women respect men who respect them in return
Some women want to dominate by men.
Some women want to dominate men.
Some women like it a little rough in bed.
Some women want it to be called making love.
Hell, some women want other women and don't give a fuck about men.
There are millions of different 'types' of women in the world. Even if they live in the same house, they are not the same.
So for Holden to say "All westernized modern women are ______" is completely and undeniably stupid and wrong. It's also extremely unfair. There are very few things (if they exist at all) that can be said for a gender as a whole. I'd vote that one of them is that no woman likes rape... considering it's against their own will... but that's my own personal experience.

In the end, Holden is just upset that no matter what actions he takes, no woman actually wants him for her own. Yeah, she'll fuck him. But no woman wants to have him as her provider, protector, and spouse. Holden just isn't boyfriend/husband material, and he never will be. As it is, records for Croatian population show that there is roughly 2 males for every female in Croatia. And considering Holden will never be able to afford to leave that country, it's fair to say that he's the 1 male too many and will never find a woman that wants to stay with him. Unless he buys her from another country...

That study says no such thing.
These results suggest that neither premarital sex nor premarital cohabitation by itself indicate either preexisting characteristics or subsequent relationship environments that weaken marriages. These are about cohabitation causing marriage to increase divorce rate. If you've ever actually been in a sociology class you'd know this is actually debunked and more recent data (from 2013) shows this actually varies based on the women. This has nothing to do with a womens past sexual experience. Get rekt.
