Phil has completely run out of ideas. Like completely. I can almost respect how blatantly obvious this charade is at this point and how much Phil chooses simply to simply feign ignorance. Him, Onision, and Wings could create the begging trifecta. Phil literally just traveled to see his parents and get married. He has already played out the "muh taxes" card dry, he knew people would continue to mention the houses so he is now claiming to foreclose on one. He has already played out the "slashed income" pity story as well. He has become a Snort Burnell video, he literally just says, "I'm broke, give me money." No attempt at context at all. Just, "give me your money."

Phil is the worst of these three by far at this game though. Wings actually has outside monetary sources beyond twitch, and I dunno about Onision but that dude will seemingly always have a rapid fanbase of teenage girls willing to give him money via their parents credit cards. Phil is rapidly approaching middle age which is the time of your life that most people should be debt free and looking towards retirement. Phil is too retarded to plan tomorrows dinner, let alone plan long term goals like retirement. He's also got some kind of weird paranoia that renders him incapable of talking to people outside his 'tism sphere so he likely won't ever get into anything outside Twitch.

I wonder if Phil will regret some of the shit he's done when he's 55 while he virtually panhandles.

As much as I'd like to assume that some of the backlash he gets for his actions have an effect on Phil - it's doubtful that he'll ever truly feel regret for his actions.

Yeah, I'm surprised Phil still shells out for new games at all, because they demonstrably don't help his viewership for more than a day, and they don't help his bottom line much. Most of the money he makes comes in while he's just talking begging and running a slideshow in his 'prestreams.' If I were Phil and were actually as desperate for cash as he claims, I would have long ago pared everything down to Minecraft, Blackout, Street Fighter, and backlog redemption runs.

You can't compare Phil to the guys who only play one game because he lacks the discipline (and autism) to meet their requirements. He constantly bitches about how if he plays something too much he gets bored with it; he can't hold himself to that standard, so there's no way in hell he could hold an audience. The guys who grind one game are either the elite/e-sports (or close to it) types or speed-runners. That being said; speed-running could've been up Phil's alley as it's repetitive motions and what-not while he lets others do the theory crafting. If he had pre-existing skills in a game, I could see him be a relatively successful speed-runner despite his personality flaws (many speedbois have them). But since he's not willing to learn/adapt, there's no way he'd be able to develop said skills.
