T. Greg Doucette / Thomas Gregory Doucette / greg_doucette / TGDLaw / fsckemall / lawdevnull / TDot - Super Lawyer, Failed Politician, Captain of The Threadnought, Drowning in Debt

This is rather interesting. We have an attorney in North Carolina dispensing legal advice to "clients" (are they?) in California (where he isn't licensed to practice) about a case in Texas (where he isn't licensed to practice). Prima facie from the twitter sperging it looks like someone is looking to get into a bit of trouble.

Went to archive his blog, turns out it has been archived before.

I'm re-archiving that page since it was in 2015, along with the previous 4 pages of the blog

For some reason I cant archive past 5 :(

Hmm. Let's see. So, he's run for office, and he's paid money for a meaningless "Super Lawyer" title. So on one hand, he's a narcissist. On the other hand, we have the fact that he's an e-beggar who has conveniently embroiled himself in a high profile controversy. And there's the fact that unlike people who are spoken of falsely, the law cannot sue for defamation when it is misrepresented. So has he spent enough time huffing his own farts that he actually believes what he says? Or is he just a shameless opportunist who sees a chance to advance his profile by telling a bunch of SJWs what they want to hear, confident that by the time Vic wins he'll have long since moved on to another issue? Oh hell, we all know it's WhyNotBoth.jpg.

He's so desperately hoping this is going to be a gotcha for ty and vic's case. How pathetic can these people get?

He apparently hasn't read the case because he apparently thinks the complaint alleges tortious interference in regards to Funimation, which it doesn't. It's not like it's that long to read, there's really no excuse for blowing hot air about it without spending the 10 fucking minutes to know what the case is even about.

To be fair, that makes him just as qualified as any other KickVicer

Anyway, good luck to Marzgurl, Greg, and all their patsies saying they're gonna get Ty disbarred for his "call to dox". I'm sure that'll go just as well as it always does. If nothing else, we'll get a few lol streams of Nick reading the complaints.

"there's a reason they haven't found anything I didn't already know about years ago"
Should we be finding content from you that you somehow....don't know about?
We're supposed to be researching his genealogy and find out that he's actually a Deep One. Sorry Douchette, but you're just a run of the mill humanoid genetic defect; no hot fish cousin-waifu for you.

I was really hoping for some legitimate takes from real lawyers who disagree because an informed opposing viewpoint would have actually been interesting, but it's just a bunch of assholes too busy huffing their own farts to actually read the documents and check out the facts available. Now I just want to rub the lawsuit in their faces so I can call them morons.

To clarify, the case alleges tortious interference with prospective business relations irt Funimation. Vic's VA work is on a contract by contract basis. The case also alleges tortious interference with prospective business relations irt future convention contracts. And finally, the case alleges tortious interference with contract with relation to the actually existing contract with Kamehacon and other such contracts, presumably with the intention of supplementing that section of the pleading if more such contracts actually emerge.

The civil conspiracy claims, if accepted, would put everyone on the hook for the actions of the other defendants. There is also a vicarious liability claim that similarly would have some ability to establish joint and several liability in the absence of a conspiracy.

The complaint has not specifically identified the conventions but we know at least one is Kameha Con. The plaintiff might have to amend the pleading to be more specific. He would if Texas has adopted the pleading standards of Iqbal and Twombly and I bet it hasn't.

It sounds like a challenge to me. Looks like he's asshurt about his Superlawyer title being shat on, a title which no Bar association or regulator approves of or acknowledges as a legitimate indication of experience.

What a massive bitch.
