Anyone who studied history would tell you the Terror ended by beheading the person that started it. Give them time when they realize they're destroying stuff they actually like they'll start turning on the people trying to take charge and rip them a new one. Though from the way things are going it's more likely companies are going to eventually bend to people paying their bills since they can use that money to strip them of their's.
I think it was more of a calculated risk. What does Ty have to lose asking for the Farms to do something they normally do? Credibility? These lawyers are damaging it more than he could if he tried. So something just hit me and as stupid as it sounds it might end up being the truth. These people are never going to understand that doxxing is not illegal. Back in the day you could look in a phone book, white pages, call an information directory, or whatever to get any name, phone number, or address you wanted. You can still do that with those online pages. It'd also mean hiring of a private investigator is doxxing. And what is KF aside from an autistic detective agency building up our filing cabinets of useless info on lolcows.
Besides, as far as I'm concerned, if you use your real name online, you have zero expectation of privacy. When we first got a computer in the 90s, my parents told me to never give my name out to strangers online. I mean, I did, because I was a little shit and didn't care, but still. Our parents tried to tell us at least.
In short, nope. Nothing is gonna come out of it. I'm sure Ty's gonna get a bunch of ethics complaints from people though, which ironically means they'll be giving out their own doxx without any of the effort.
