FUNimation's reply was exceptional but not exceptional enough. Kinda glad these nutters are at least going out swinging.
I would think they'd at least attempt to dispute jurisdiction.
Because Funimation isn't a Texas based company. So they could, at least, try to claim that their base of opperations and the one defamatory thing they may have done all originated outside of that jurisdiction and didn't reach into it. I'm not saying that's a good argument either. Just I could see it being attempted.

To think the only thing they care about is the rumors and not the fact he still had con's and a job before all this, those rumors meant nothing for the libel-proof
each person can take a section or look for laws that they can use giving them more time essentially however it would probably cost more.So what's the benefit to having multiple lawfirms working in one case? Cause that seems like a clusterfuck.
Wasn't Funi's statement implied and not actually a statement that it was all true? Also wasn't he losing con jobs before Funi's statement? kind of forget if it was before or after, I know the VA's lead to con's dropping him though.Yet it was specifically the actions, and the full official endorsement of those "rumors" by Funimation. that led to Mr. Mignogna's loss of work. There may have been rumors out there. But Funi published them as established fact and caused others to act on the rumors. So Funi is the root point of the defamation causing harm.

If this were true, why was Funimation still working with him as late as January?
Why did Monica speak so fondly of him during the Broly press tour?
