Dr. Rachel McKinnon / Dr. Veronica Ivy / Rhys McKinnon / Rachel Veronica McKinnon / Foxy Moxy / SportIsARight - failed out of a tenured job,man who competes in womens sports, gained like 100 lbs in 2022 (page 813), comically fell off bike before a race (page 830)

So what do Rhys' cop dad and mom think about him trooning out and competing in the women's category? Have they disowned him or are they happy and cheering every time he wrecks all the other competitors?

Troons love to trot out their supportive family members. Since Rhys hasn't done that, I'm assuming his parents don't approve, assuming they're still alive. Considering how old he is, it's not guaranteed they're still kicking.

If I'd raised Rhys, I'd change my own family name, call it a deadname, and then kill myself.

Rhys talks about his comming out to his parents here:

He send letters to his family. So he can't know their initial reactions. They pretend to be supportive of his trooning. That's not suprising. Otherwise they would risk to never see him again ...

I do not think that is the 'risk' - Rhys probably was a self-aggrandizing dipshit from early childhood and they knew if they said a single word he could latch on to, they would never hear the end of it.

I know a few people who have swallowed the "abolish cops" koolaid, and they just sort of seem to assume that it'll all be just fine and communities will "police themselves" somehow (they never go into specifics on how that will work) and people will all just get along and be one big happy family and no one will do crime anymore. Basically, it's the worst sort of willful blindness and hopeless idealism about human nature. Cops can be dicks, no question, but the alternatives to organized law enforcement are a lot less appealing.
but just look at this hypocritical asshole. rhys actually bragged about having a little panic-button around his neck, to push if he falls & can't get up. he is constantly bitch-whining about needing cops, how often he is threatened, many hundreds of times a day. he doxes ppl constantly who cross him in any way. he is obsessed with getting law enforcement to take his BS seriously. (he never got his daddy's attention, so this is next best thing.)

he "hates cops" but can't get em off speed dial.

there was this old bumper sticker from the dark ages, "next time you need a cop, call a hippie". we can change it to tranny now, just as accurate.

they hate the cops, but then its all saaaaaaave me Superman!

i'd personally like to get all cop-haters to sign a waiver, making them like conscientious objectors: legally exempted from calling police 24/7. an app could fix it so they could not even dial the number.

& yes i know what you're thinking. okay so ayn rand wasn't wrong about every single thing.

This was essentially tried in Baltimore IRC. Blacks in poor neighborhoods told the cops to fuck off after Freddie Gray to which the police said “well if you don’t want us, we won’t respond to calls”.

Guess what happened? Crime, violent crime, shot way up and the community freaked out and demanded the cops come back.

:story: He's not that old. Even street shitting indians live into their 80s. Wtf kind of world do you live in? Tell me so I never go there.

Besides, his mother supports him, at the very least. Earlier in this thread, she sent him a bunch of flowers for some reason.

What exactly do these people propose in place of a police force?
Antifa Supersoldiers. Just ask Phil.

Ladies, Gents and Troons. The month is barely one-third on its way but let me announce Rhys's Quote of the Month!!!
If you share news about ONE trans woman allegedly assaulting one transphobe... ...you're a transphobe, too.

It seems some troon's gone nuts again and attack normal people (I presume it is the Julie Bindel case). Troons over the internet -- and I suspect in the mainstream press as well -- are trying to keep a lid on it, in the clumsy, dumb way we've come to expect of troons.

795165

I always say, if your species don't want to appear in crime statistics, then don't do crime. Don't play the oppression card and demand people to look the other way: this will only make you look worse.

And our beloved Garden Gnome retweets his googleshng about "Tara Wolf", the male thug who beat up a 61-year-old woman. And Rhys retweets him.

Julie Bindel's comment on her attack raised some conflicts among buddy troons.
795170

I thought "truth doesn't care about your feelings"? Indeed Rhys has just said exactly that!

Back to the slap-fight between Rhys and Joss Prior (a troon who has an ongoing feud with Mumsnet. Someone may care to fill me in the details). Here we have a runner-up of Rhys's Quote of the Month: you went to the "don't tell me what to say" place?

You can see we're dealing with a narcissistic sociopath whose ego is so fragile that it cannot stand a nanogram of disagreement. God bless his colleagues now that they can't move him.

+ + +

We have accepted so many political movement into "academic philosophy" -- feminism and white guilt for instance -- each of them were designed to materially harm colleagues anathemic to the ideology, that I don't see any problem if there were an anti-trans conspiracy in academia. It's just another Monday, a storm in the teacups of the pempered, leisured class.

And guess what? Trannies is still a privilege class in academia. There is no conspiracy to "material harm" them.

@2damntrans provides no context (maybe his twitter handle is the context?) but anyone with a sliver of brain can distinguish between "advice" and "grooming". For one thing advice is usually given at request, by trustworthy people, to someone who will find such advice useful. A 30-year-old troon telling a 9-year-old boy how to do drag is not "advice".

795160

Are we sure it is #PhillyPride rather than #PhillyShame?

One of the top five things I hate about trans activists is on display right here. I hate the way they twist words and history to make themselves sound like they aren't shitty, shitty people. Of course, twisting people's words and trying to rewrite history is something only shitty people do, but I guess who cares?

No one said "advice" was grooming. Advice is sought out. Grooming is things like an adult contacting minors and encouraging them to privately communicate behind their parents backs. And that's exactly what they're doing.

On the subject of things being "sought out", the gay history that's being referenced here has nothing at all to do with this. Gay teenagers were (and still are with less frequency) routinely kicked out of their homes and run out of town. These teens sought out gay communities, which then helped them out. At no point in history have gays been contacting minors living at home and trying to convince them to run off to rainbow glitter families. That's again, just a troon thing and it is absolutely grooming.

God bless his colleagues now that they can't move him.

A colleague who politely but firmly stands up to his shit, and lets him flail around in the way that's becoming familiar from videos like "it's MA'AM" and the one from the UK yesterday, might be one of the only people who could stop Rhys from gaining more power. Someone else with tenure could get away with a lot if they were careful about how they worded it. I can only guess faculty from multiple departments are already conspiring to figure out what to do about him.

Seeing as they gave him tenure after all his bullshit was common knowledge, I doubt that.
But if they ever want to "do something about him", all they have to do is bust him on his various instances of plagiarism and academic dishonesty. If the college is smart they've already gathered it all up in a little folder marked "Troon Insurance".

I did a prelim interview with his school (for another department) and ran the other direction. They were bragging about how they get a lot of rich students who want to come to Charleston because it’s a pleasant place to live, rather than anything about about the school and its academic priorities. If there’s any place that’d indulge his bullshit, going by my brief encounter with them, it’s CofC.

BURN THE PHILOSOPHER
(for another department)
... oops. Carry on.

If you look at Rhys' teaching portfolio, you can tell they're big into gimmicks there - a sure indicator that admini-drones are in charge rather than scholars.

If there is something that makes me genuinely MAD AT THE INTERNET, it is shit such as this:
796666

No! The health of innocent people MUST NOT be sacrificed for the sake of your bullshit "rights".
Your species is notorious for illicit drug use, sexual degeneracy, and prostitution -- and don't you blame "stress" and "oppression" -- and you fucks fucking LIE to get what you want, you fuck LIE even on medical forms. It is an absolutely right decision to reject your blood donation.

I insist we have not been transphobic enough. If we don't step up on our transphobia right now, more people will suffer.

796673

We need more transphobes and racists.

796681

You are a fucking MAN, if your iron level is in the female range you are iron deficient.

796669

Then why don't you race with MEN, which you ought to be anyway?

796672

What a disgusting attention whore.

OK OK I'll calm down.
796674

What the fuck is she at now? "Women" is plural; "them" is plural. Is this some "othering" bullshit in academese?

796677

How is answering academic questions "dehumanizing"? Everyone has had to work -- and been expected to perform well -- under personal tragedies or strong emotional distress. It sucks but such is life.

What a bunch of pampered children.

Just curious, but don't synthetic hormones swim in the bloodstream? Does that, too, make blood a potentially toxic mess? You sure wouldn't want to take a chance that little Susie's going to get a bag full of testosterone cypionate after her car accident?

That's pretty much the basis of the ban, as well as some research that indicates that trans people have significantly higher rates of HIV than the general population.
