Good question. If it's a legal matter, I assume that getting married with prenup agreements would actually help. Other than that, fuck if I know.

Listen, if you have to have prenups, you automatically are A) not trusting of your potential mate, and B) not trusting that the two of you will have the capacity to meaningfully commit to each other for the rest of your natural lives without trying to screw the other over. And if that's the case, I don't know what a couple like that would even be doing together especially when they're that far in.

If either one of them has children from another marriage and owes child support, if they marry, and the biological parent becomes unable to pay, the marriage partner becomes liable for the child support payments. The ability to pay child support is dependant on the household income. By not marrying (or not living in a common law marriage state) it is impossible to hold someone liable for their partners' child support.
There are other reasons for not becoming legally married. If your partner happens to become disabled, their ability to receive disability payments and assistance would be dependant on household income.

So I had largely been tuning out Greg Doucette.
Watching him repeat the same talking points that have been done to death back in January/February was rather pointless. AND when he claimed that instead of talking to Ty he'd just wait for the verdict before tweeting 100s more times on the topic it left me assuming that he clearly had nothing of value to offer.
BUT these two tweets strike me as interesting - Greg claims that "we are putting Vic's case in the ground" - who is the we and what are they doing - just the verbal diarrhoea on twitter or something else?:
