It's unique how little Phil cares about his 11-year career. He always does the bare minimum in every aspect. He takes absolutely no pride in what he does. You'd think there'd be one aspect he'd at least be motivated in... gameplay, research, presentation, comedy, knowledge... nope, nothing. I guess besides getting shekels, but he can't even be assed to a have a counter.

Can't even be assed to buy 2 dollars worth of velcro for this 2 dollar "stream mascot." Instead he just "lost" it. It's ok I prefer the facerig mascots anyways.

I don't know why more people have not chosen to troll Phil by kindly informing him of the multitude of ways in which he can tighten the belt and sell redundant possessions in order to make money. He constantly stresses he's in the worst financial situation of his whole life, yet he's not eating only rice and chicken for every meal, and shutting off the electricity during non-"work" hours.

  • Sell the second car and ride a bike instead (Redacted)
  • Cancel the second ISP connection
  • Stop paying for over-priced organic cherry juice
  • Sell the PSVR and the capture-modded 3DS

Those are just some that come to mind. I'm sure a much longer list can be compiled. He should be reminded often he's living an esteemed life and needs to make the effort to be deserving of continued support.

"Hey Phil, I love your content. Been a sub since the early days. I'm sorry to hear you're having financial troubles, so I've been thinking and have a few suggestions in ways for you to save $100 a month. [insert suggestions that give insult to his privileged lifestyle]"

Likewise, you could do the same by suggesting the many ways for him to save wasted time during the day.

So let me get this straight: DSP took a dump on fellow streamer Dr Disrespect, literally calling him, and I quote, a "complete fucking moron" and "the biggest moron on Twitch", and somehow his channel wasn't displaying this notification within 15 minutes?

How? No, really... how?

Whose dick did he suck to be able to use his Twitch channel as a place to broadcast his toxic, jealousy-fuelled rants, while other streamers are getting bans for the most vague and accidental shit? And he's saying this shit about people who are on the same goddamn payroll as he is, mind you. How is Twitch as a company able to keep a straight face with all the "Oh, but you need to behave like a decent person if you want to be part of the Twitch family"-bullshit when you have someone like DSP spewing his negativity all over the place in full consciousness on an almost daily basis?

Phil doesn't have two cars. He has a 2017 Toyota Corolla.

I mean, he's going to upload it to youtube, so someone could try reporting it with a reasonably worded message about how his actions appear to go against the TOS (reasonably worded = not having a screed about how Phil is literally Satan made manifest and needs to be banned from Twitch). I'd be surprised if anything came of it. Someone could also try letting Dr. Disrespect know directly and privately (i.e., not through a Twitter tag). He's big enough that he could probably make something happen if he chose (and if Twitch isn't permabanning him).

He spent it on velcro straps for his shoes so he doesn't have to tie them all the time.
The first time this was brought up I would have bet it was a joke. Between this, the shower stool, the pillow he sits on, the pillow to support him, staring at the tv all day confused by everything on the screen, the memory loss, and constantly telling the same 5 stories with wildly different details he's already living the life of a 70 year old Alzheimer's patient. Please tell me he wears compression socks to somehow help with his alleged gout.

I think a lot of stuff goes into it. One, they honestly probably don't care if it's one white male shitting on another white male. Two, it's an invisible line, so calling someone a moron when he does something moronic that gets him banned off the site could be seen as apropos. Three, and I'm not sure one this, but are partners forbidden from talking shit about each other? Diction has talked shit about Phil in Phil's own twitch chat. Phil's talked shit about Ninja. But as long as they're not using any particular nasty insults, racial or sexual slurs for instance, or inciting one group of fans to do something, I don't see Twitch caring much.

I don't know the exact Twitch rule, but there apparently are rules about streamers not being allowed to talk shit on each other. There was that one time Phil insulted a streamer and said something about his physical looks; his purple hair and beard. That got Phil a suspension which IIRC was supposed to last a week or so, but Phil talked to someone and got it knocked down to 24 hours or so. So I'm confident the rule exists, but I don't know its specifics.

Edit: Or it could just be Twitch staff being inconsistent with their rules/ToS. Because if the Twitch staff are reliable at one thing, it's being unreliable.

Oh, I didn't realize that guy was a streamer, I thought he was just a rando. Yeah you're right. If he got suspended for bullying the guy's physical appearence but frequently insults people who dye their hair and look and act like pussy muppets, well something would seem to be up

Have you ever heard of that fatass twitch stafffer Hassan? He stans for amouranth and other titty streamers quite often and has relationships with them that seems beyond professional, acting as a shield for them to stretch the rules in exchange for tit pics or throwing a little attention his way. I'm sure there's a twitch mod that, for whatever reason, has a soft spot for Phil. Otherwise I wouldn't see him being able to insult a big dog like Dr. Disrespect and coming out the other side.

That was what my edit about they're only reliable for being unreliable. They can talk a good game about rules and bans and shit; but when it comes to one of their pets, nothing but excuses and exceptions.

Anyone: Darksydephil called Dr. Disrespect a fucking moron for streaming teens pissing multiple times at e3!

Twitch: Who the fuck is darksydephil? Also, yeah that's a dumbass thing to do.

I don't really have evidence but my gut has always been excluding really heinous things Twitch just couldn't ignore the person being discussed would have to complain for Twitch to take it seriously. It would explain why Phil gets to talk as much trash as he does because even if the streamer would see it Phil's such a non-entity it isn't worth the trouble.

If I remember correctly he even said he would beat up DrDisRespect if he would be there getting filmed, iirc. I can look for the exact clip, I believe Gundam put it in his video aswell.
So he's insulting and possibly threatening violence?
Like said before people could report it to YouTube if he uploads it but simply focus on the fact it breaks ToS and not his past/future/other. Or the good old way of Tweeting and tagging people who would get triggered. I've noticed a lot of people on Twitter lately made videos of Dave doing dumb shit breaking ToS, going in the way of calling people faggots, cringing at homosexual stuff and gender jokes, and tagging pride month related stuff - I'm very shocked that absolutely nothing has come of it.

Too bad Hbomberguy have up on messing with DSP. I loved the Tweet he made about Dave wanting to hit a child.

Not sure how technical Twitch would take it but I think Phil said something like, if someone tried to film me pissing I'd knock em out, or he's lucky that it was all kids there (what?!) or else someone would have knocked em out.
To be fair what the fuck can Twitch even say in response? The guy took a live broadcast into a public bathroom, Twitch banned him, they can't really put a fatwah on the subject and it's gonna look bad if they do some sort of tacit defense of him by punishing those who decry the same actions that Twitch has already banned him for.

Yeah you're right. I wrote it very poorly and edited it correctly, thank you for pointing it out.

You're right in that regard. I want to believe they're just waiting for something to fuck DSP up, but there were many chances - near weekly - and he is still sitting there. I have no doubt he has some sort of contact at Twitch that shields him. Hell, even former Twitch staff said the current staff is doing a shit job by not doing something.

Twitch: Who the fuck is darksydephil? Also, yeah that's a dumbass thing to do.

Pretty much this. A quick google search shows there were over 27,000 partnered streamers on Twitch at the beginning of the year, and there's over 150,000 general broadcasters. It's not like Twitch staff actively watch every stream on their site. I'm not sure why everyone is always surprised that Twitch isn't run like an authoritarian state. With a few notable exceptions, which I think we can all agree were total bs, they've always been pretty lax with their broadcasting rules. And in most cases, violating their TOS has never equaled an automatic ban. Again, there are exceptions, but these are cases where Twitch was usually overreacting with people rightly pointing out they were in the wrong, and realistically, only making said choices as a PR move.

I realize this is a hugely unpopular opinion, but I think crying TOS violations anytime Phil steps out of line is lame. It reminds me of how a lot of other cows scream on Twitter or other platforms about their critics/people they dislike breaking the rules and getting them banned. If it was any other streamer being banned for saying some other Twitch rando was dumb for filming kids pissing (which is apparently a thing that happened?) I'd say that was dumb, just like a Twitch streamer getting banned for saying there are only two genders.

People use Twitch to talk shit all the time. It does technically break the very loosely defined rules set out in the TOS because you can make an argument that Phil is abusing/harassing them. But if that was applied to all streamers, the site would have been dead long ago because everyone was banned. Hell, just look at all the snarky e3 streams over the past few days. I'm sure there were streamers commenting on people/companies making dumbass decisions, which could certainly be classified as defaming/abuse/harassment under Twitch's extremely vague TOS. Twitch has already showed signs of banning people for wrongspeak in those previously mentioned PR moves. I'd rather see less of that, not more, especially on smaller channels where part of the appeal is the streamer can get away with being more chill (in the actual sense, not the Phil shilling for money sense) and have actual conversations with their audience.

All that being said, there's no denying Phil has done some bigger stuff that should have gotten him in trouble. And honestly, it might have. Like I said before, outside of big PR cases, Twitch doesn't have a reputation of being a strict place. As long as it isn't a legal TOS violation, they tend to issue slap on the wrist warnings. Hell, even in those bigger legal violations, you usually just eat a short temp ban. We've even seen that with Phil before. I have a feeling at least some of the waves of reports have also warranted a slap on the wrist email that Phil probably ignored or quietly got pissy about.

Also, Phil saying dumb shit is way more entertaining than Phil playing it safe and going into corporate Twitch shill mode.
