Chelsea’s just mad because she couldn’t fuck her way into the dev team of Cyberpunk.

You can't kill women for shock value in entertainment anymore because "Muh woman in the refrigerator trope." Get with the times, bad things are only allowed to happen to straight white men, everything else is a harmful stereotype.Anyone that watched this trailer understands that it is tragic and it plays out as a sort of body horror, starting when the arm blades are revealed and the bodies shows up, you wonder who she is, this doesn't seem right, at the same time she's frozen in that pose, completely catatonic in her underwear surrounded by bodies of what seems like bystanders, they're the general public that had the misfortune of being massacred. Something has gone horribly wrong.
"It's hypersexualization!" yeah if anyone is jacking it to that they should be in prison, just as a precaution, I think most people would find that reasonable.
It's also (in my exceptional brain anyway) meant to immediately harken back to one of the more iconic images/sequences of one of the most famous cyberpunk works in popular culture: Zhora being retired in Blade Runner.![]()

The rain, the woman in revealing, out-of-place clothing, posed just so in a public street. Everything, from the overt to the subtle, indicates that this woman is Other, and speaks volumes about the world you should anticipate when you play this game. This is how promotional marketing should be done: it invites you in to study an image, to fill in the gaps yourself, to draw comparisons obvious and not-so-obvious or to learn more if you don't recognize them. You've seen things like this elsewhere, likely, but not in many games, and not recently.
Well, except for Zoe who gets to continue her exciting project of being a useless whore. As far as I can tell from briefly looking at some articles they managed to fix it by just having a phone call directly with each other and agreeing to work together due to them all having a love for beekeeping. Everyone gets to do what they want and get to work together on projects related to star control.
CD projekt knows these idiots and trannies aren’t their audience so they don’t care. I saw another sjw twatter idiot upset over this but also realize they don’t matter and the game will still sell. The manufactured outrage has one goal, shame a company into action. A lot of companies are weak and scared of social media outrage so they cave. CD Projekt isn’t one of those companies thankfully.I'm personally of the opinion that CD Projekt could stand to be a little more politic about some things, but I can't deny that it's funny to watch these people act like their screeching can influence a company that's wholly independent, has more money than God, and is run by a bunch of crazy old Polack uber-nerds who got their start muling bootleg software across the ruins of the Iron Curtain and selling it out of the trunks of cars. They don't give a fuck what you think. Find somebody else to yell at.
They think cyberpunk has figured out how to give trannies the hot sexy, girl body of their dreams and there’s no “transmisogyny” or “transphobia” because the world has “progressed” into a leftist utopia. Not sure how that fits with cyberpunk when it’s about big corporations running the world and your life as well as the body augmentation stuff/futurism shit. What the fuck do these nerds expect cyberpunk to look like?
All you need to do is look at how Victoria's Secret and Calvin Klein shill their shit to women/men to realize a dystopic variant is gonna be hardcore.
This is a future where bodymods are so common place and easy to attain that it makes perfect sense a trendy energy drink would shill itself to the mod crowd. That's how this shit works. It body/gender modifation was easy enough to he commonplace you'd see corporations shill to that crowd the same way they shill avocado toast and Bubly.
If trans people weren't .0001% of the population Apple would already have released a commercial for iPad covers "a fluid look for the fluid you".
☝ At this point, this is all that needs to be said about Quinn.Finish your kickstarter. Shut up about games that will actually be released.
Building on that, a big part of what happened -- in my reading, anyway -- is that between the early 90s and now, transhumanism became what amounts to a cult among a certain set of futurist nerds. I think you now have folks who are almost religiously offended by material that goes back and treats things like human augmentation as just part of a fun pulpy power fantasy, rather than a quest for enlightenment where samadhi is achieved when you download your brain into an immortal sexbot body. They think cyberpunk has figured out how to give trannies the hot sexy, girl body of their dreams and there’s no “transmisogyny” or “transphobia” because the world has “progressed” into a leftist utopia.
