Burn them to the ground, piss on it, and sow salt in the ashes. Repent afterwards. It's pretty much that simple. If Vic were Catholic we could even try to get a papal edict guaranteeing anything he does he is automatically forgiven for.

These people are fanatics. You don't show them mercy. It will not be rewarded.

To see an example of this look at Pridemore and Marzgurl. BH showed them mercy by sending them nothing more than C and D letters as a warning shot. Instead of taking the hint this emboldened them to screech louder and continue to cause problems. In Marzgurl's case, she went after Vic's mom. They need to be utterly destroyed through legal channels. And if the legal system should fail....

What comes next won't be good.

Jamie's photo has left me wondering all day where I'd seen him before. I could not give a single shit about anime or the industry of voice actors beyond what I've learned from following the Vic saga, so it was baffling to me that his face was ringing such a strong bell.

Then it hit me. He's the spitting image of Colin Robinson, the energy vampire from What We Do In the Shadows. Colin doesn't drink blood - he just sucks the vitality out of everyone around him. Unsure if people feel empty and drained after being around Jamie or his doppelganger husband, but the resemblance is uncanny.

While true, do you want to go down that path you don't know if you will be able to comeback from. It's throwing away who you are essentially. And that's not an easy thing to do. That is something to be admired, not critique. Even after all of this, Vic still is keeping who he is despite all this. Tbh, Vic is holding Ty Beard back, but Ty Beard will respond in kind to his opponents. So it's COMPLETELY up to them if they want to try anything that will initiate the "killswitch" on them. Basically, "they are holding the rope to their own noose" in this thing.

True, what is does however is expose them even more, you either stomp the fuck out of them or you stonewall them while they expose themselves like some mad naked virtue signaller that's gonna make people hate them. Either way, there is a reason why people call Vic The real life Shield Hero because he got supporters that will do the heavy lifting while he backs up and supports them in turn. And it's mad that the same shit is happening in real life as it is in the manga. The hero is slowly stomping those people out.

It's an exceedingly bad idea to leave a foe in a position that can cause one harm in the future. If one has a chance to neutralize that foe completely and utterly one must take it. I've seen it countless times in the workplace. Employee Z is a bad employee that is allowed to linger because Manager X is too weak to address it.

Employee Z gets in a position where they cost the company a substantial amount of money and/or decimates a productive team. Something that takes years to recover from.

There's likely a big gap between the fullest extent he could take this and the minimum extend to neutralize people trying to ruin your life. There's still a lot ahead of us but I suspect Vic is going to choose the latter rather than the former if given an option. And honestly, that would be justice done IMO.

Cept in this case. "they are holding the rope to their own noose" It all depends how "exceptional" these individuals want to play. Basically if they push things, Vic will do what he has to.

been lurking accountless for a while now and just decided to change that.

I think Vic actually leaving these people with something can teach not just them but also us a lesson. We all are quick to overshoot but is that really what is best? I fully believe that Vic isn't going to forgive them. They tried to destroy his life. But nuking in return isn't gonna help anybody. Vic knows that at most it would hurt his fans by removing even more voice actors from their favorite Anime. Vic seems to choose said fans over vengeance. And imo that's a good thing to do.

Go look at the Ron Toye or Jamie Marchi thread. Do these people look like they are capable of learning? They just continue to double down.
