Not only that: If one were to believe them about hearing those "horror stories" (or the horror stories being real in the first place), why didn't they just get the info from the person(s) that were doing so and went to the police themselves? What world do they live in that their first instinct wasn't to contact the police about situations were abuse might be happening, specially involving minors? Same shit with Emmet.
