If there's suspicion that they were doing figops with google-drive based docs, they could end up having their entire drive account subpoenaed and thrown into discovery. there's pretty good evidence that google doesn't delete *anything* even if you delete it- shit will sit in archives until google is good and ready to remove it (so never). Google docs and other gdrive-based apps also track versioning transparently so any collaboratively produced docs would know the full history of the doc, the full history of the doc access, full history of people who viewed the doc, along with timestamps and all the rest.

some of that data is not surfaced to the user unless you have a paid gsuite account, but god forbid ron soye ever opened up a link to anything while logged in at work. shane is literally expanding the surface area of potential discovery with every single one of his big-brained takes.

We have more than "pretty good evidence". You can request your data from google and get back every file that was ever in your drive, as people have done. This is why you never, ever, ever store a private key un-encrypted in your dive, which yes, some people do.

i've had to dig through google docs version tracking to find out who among 1k+ people made a 1-line change at minimum 2 months prior, it took 15 minutes and i had not done anything like that before. docs and other tools like it are designed first for large corporate use so those sorts of tasks are built to be relatively simple since they're so commonplace.

Nothing, or at least, nothing that aligns with your worldview. What you and everyone else should be doing is going to the police with this kind of shit. Going to the police and teaching people that its okay to do so if the situation calls for it, even if its hard to do so, even if you think it may not help.

Yes, there are situations were the person doesn't want to speak against them, but if you have proof (text/facebook messagess, twitter dm's, etc) that they are in a bad situation, then you should be trying to involve the relevant authorities. It baffles me that you and (and apparently everyone in your circle) believes that being some sort of virtual-shield is actually better than bringing abusers to justice and getting the abused people to therapy: you aren't a professional psychologist nor a psychiatrist, you don't know what's best for their well-being.

Hell, I just remembered how Monica suggested contacting the studio where the voice actors work instead of contacting the police/the fbi, regarding the "male VA's that have given underage girls drugs and taken them to their hotel rooms". She can't even justify herself behind the persons words ("The girls will never come forward because they don't want their parents to know they smoked pot"), because she should be reassuring them that the parents would be more concerned with their daughters well-being (considering the possibility of them being victims of rape) than with them smoking pot. I was just thinking, how Shane seemed to be so focused on VAs who might me shielding Vic, or are otherwise on Vic's side.

Remember, Shane used to date VA Kristen McGuire. From what I remember the the breakup wasn't a nice one. I remember reading someone's opinion (maybe @Not A Bug) that Kristen might actually be on Vic's side, but doesn't want to go public with it. Maybe Shane knows that. And maybe is Shane is angry that Kristen has more loyalty to Vic than she did to him. Hmm.

That's more a educated guess on my part. Shane is toxic though and I'm sure that, whatever ended Kristen and Shane, that she doesn't feel any need to be loyal.

How did Ty even know to ask for them specifically? I’m guessing Nick was involved.
