I've never played Berseria, but I found that she makes a good copy of her fellow voice actress when playing Darkness, so she sounds like an incredibly perverted Artoria Pendragon.

I'm beginning to think that her choice for Velvet/Saber as Darkness is intentional then. Definitely play Berseria if you ever get the chance. The whole cast (minus Rial) knock it out of the park. Solid gameplay, good story, easily the best JRPG I've ever played.

I've heard rumors how the cast hated working on Berseria, and considering the quality of the translation takes a nosedive at certain points, I can believe that.

There's also the aspect of "turning the pyramid upside down". They do not see identitarianism as inherently evil (giving them a commonality with the KKK and neoNazis that they they want people not to mention). Rather they think that "Straight White Men" being at the top of the pyramid (in their model of the world ) is what is evil and what they want to do is turn the pyramid upside down so that the groups as the bottom are at the top and groups at the top are at the bottom. However, a necessary consequence of this is that because of gravity (here social gravity) 90% of the groups that are now at the top after this revolution will fall down the heap towards the bottom again, and all that has been achieved is a small cabal of people are the new ruling class of a shitty heap of something that vaguely resembled a pyramid at one time.

This is why SJWs, communists, and revolutionaries of any stripe turn on each other in a heartbeat, because they do not want their small subfaction to drift back towards the bottom in the after-revolution "readjustment" period.

This is why the American Revolution was one of the most successful political remodeling events in history, because it wasn't a pyramid turning scheme but rather, a removal of the very tippy-top from power and transferring that power equally down an already established stable political society.
