People like Phil don't have friends, ever, and I truly mean that. This isn't meant to be a cheap insult. They can't develop friendships because they place a value on your person as to how much they benefit from you, not your identity. And friendships are based on the fact that even if said person does not benefit you, you maintain a connection to them because you want to keep them close to you for who they are (same interests, interesting opinions, introvert/extrovert personality, sense of humor etc etc) and things you have experienced together (ex soccerteam teammate, old school buddy etc etc). Considering every relationship in your life at one point or another loses its beneficiality, that's exactly the point where - among other things - friendship is defined.
Take for example colleagues vs friends. Imagine you have a job where you spend a lot of time with Jim and John. After 3 years, you take on another job. Two months after starting your new job, you still talk to Jim and make plans with him to go to that one bar on friday night you guys have been talking about all week. Yet you haven't spoken to John ever since you left your old job.
=> when you left, Jim was a friend, John was a colleague
People like Phil drop you immediately once your utility has decreased, because the value of their relationship to you has dropped along with it in their eyes. That is why Phil cannot have friends. Even those paypigs that play with him. Have a paypig spend years playing with Phil. Once said paypig stops donating and doesn't want to help Phil with his streams anymore, Phil is gonna cut all contact with him, I fucking guarantee it. No matter how well they got along, Phil will slowly but surely cut him out completely because he does not want to spend time on anything that doesn't instantly benefit him, and that is exactly what friendships are based upon.

That's the kind of shit I was getting at with the whole Jared thing and how fatfuck failure phil was taking potshots years after that tweet. At least the dude had friends and willingly went out in public and interacted with human beings what's this clown ever done on camera in the past what six seven years that didn't involve an underage groomed mystery race bitch or his current nag but someone out of the blue.

He does read tip messages if they surpass a certain amount, (not sure if it's $1 or $5), and only if he feels like it. You may have heard him saying on prestreams that it's subjective, he's not obligated to read anything if he doesn't want to.
I think they also might not be deleted by mods unlike cheers, so I guess this is why trolls do it.
But the most important thing is that by tipping him, you're financially helping him in the most efficient way, and that is what's most important, right?

Dave doesn't actually know how to play the youtube or twitch games. It's like a chatbot that just copies things. Everything about his stream is just copied from other, more successful people. His whole strategy on youtube was to spam videos mindlessly. If a paypig asked him tips about streaming or making videos, he'd have no advice other than the generic shit everyone hears.

There was a time you could argue Phil was ahead of the curb, if only just for a moment, but laziness and complacency he was quickly overtaken. If he just copied other people he could have caught up but he drags his feet until he begrudgingly copies others.
He was making "dirty, filthy amounts of money" and could have easily afforded a capture card to improve his videos but refused. Don't know why he even has the face cam but it took him years to adopt one. He owns a fucking green screen, it is in his house, but he would rather have it collect dust in the garage then take the time to set it up. If that green screen is ever set up he is going to act like he revolutionized his business and want heaps of praise just like with the other things mentioned.

Yeah but he was only ever "ahead" in the first place by virtue of the bread and butter khambo he's been mashing for a decade; we'll call it the Rocking Avarice 25 Open Tabs Shuffle since he's Mr street fighter. Out of the gate his aim was basically to imitate those who already had a foothold in the ahnline scene like AVGN. The difference that's held true from day one was that it would have to fall under the autistic constraints he set up for himself. The most important Tenet of Dave Bennett is - do the absolute bare minimum that's required and not one snort more.
I don't think it was any spark of genius or foresight that made him decide to upload his full unedited raw real and ahnest playthroughs to youtube. He looked at James Rolfe and said"I wanna be that guy.. but I'm obviously too lazy to learn how to edit my videos into digestible pieces so I'm just gonna dump the whole thing on the internet and see wut happens". As that pigroach luck would have it, it carried him along for a handful of years until the world took notice of the easy money train and inadvertently pushed him off it leaving him behind in Lago (see: High Plains Drifter) in a dwindling love triangle relationship with a girl and house he couldn't afford emotionally or financially. Despite the fact money was already starting to slide before he got My Second Home, I'm sure he believed he'd made it and was set for life; no further effort or action required.
This superhuman desire of his to be himself (never change, never adapt, never acknowledge actual reality) is coincidentally the one thing that's kept him around as a successful laughing stock all this time. Others would have tried to change and many would have failed and acknowledged that it was time to move on.. but our boy Phil will probably never see the light and keep making enough (but not really enough guise!) out of this sham until his dying day because misery loves company - the company of genuine mental defectives. Apparently.

I wonder if Phil is gonna get hit by the Warner Brothers Music Group on his MK11 footage from today. I uploaded some Shang Tsung content and got hit by their in house music group for actual videogame music. Up until today, MK11 stuff was being flagged as advertiser unfriendly, but now it's getting hit for copyright.

This and other people mentoning Tevin in his chat sent DSP into one of his toxic rants. Also, keep in mind that not even two weeks before this, he blamed Tevin live on stream about Kat leaving the Halloween stream. The rant:
