She’s worse than the boy who cried wolf. He only had one lie. With her, every day is another opportunity to be victimised by the world. Every waiter is rude, every doctor incompetent, every policeman a killer, every boyfriend a rapist. Traumatic events shared publicly are just white noise with her. Even if you believe her, a week on her feed would be enough to ensure compassion fatigue.

What surprises me is that she chose to pretend to be specifically Jewish. I mean, she could have chosen to be a Muslim and say she suffers from Islamophobia. Since she is a man, she does not need to wear hijab, marry two or more people and she could say that Islam is the religion of peace and tolerance

I suspect the thought crossed her mind, but the problem is that it’s much harder to half-ass. If Jews disapprove of her, the worst that happens is that she gets ostracised, which she kinda wants anyway. But piss off the wrong Muslim, which she certainly would, and you might get honour killed. Or at least, that would be perpetual victim Becky’s thoughts.

Given how much Bex feels bugged by us, perhaps it's an upgrade.
Thing is, this happens more times than it should because the people behind software/hardware upgrades either don't adequately plan for conversions or have no fail-safes in place if something goes wrong.
Last year, my state updated its online database of corporation and LLC names, giving every single one a new id number in the process. I'm not sure if some or all of the names got affected, but a business name I previously registered had its type of business changed during the switchover -- something I didn't know about until I unsuccessfully tried to create an online account to manage my information and got an error message that I had the business type wrong. It took a phone call to figure out what happened, but it was easily fixed on the spot.
We have no idea what the real issue with PayPal and what they have in their system as Bex's legal name. However, I'm willing to be it has nothing to do with anti-transgendered discrimination when one considers how many companies have gone above and beyond to be LGBTetc-friendly -- especially during pride month. My speculation is that there is some sort of mix-up with her name change paperwork. It could be something got lost on their end, or it could be that she didn't give them everything they need from her. We'll never know because she prefers to spin her anti-trans conspiracy narrative any chance she gets, even though it's doubtful things happen the way she spins them.

It is probably a simple propagation error, where the name change is applied to her account but an entry in another database or some historical record is missed. Just like the princess and the pea, no inconvenience is too mild for Becky to REEEE over it.
