I just thought it'd be a good time to remind everyone that about a month ago, DSP had a tweet that did some numbers and he thought he went viral, and said stuff like "The internet forgives him" and "I'm cool again" and that he'd get huge numbers and shit and kept saying stuff like "This is a fresh start for me! It's like a reboot, I'm cool on the internet again!" Then he expected big numbers for his stream, got none, thought that was "a little disappointing" and proceeded to talk shit about ProJared the entire week to keep people tuned in, tried to keep making memey tweets in hopes they'd go "viral" (aka 1k retweets) again and freaked out seeing Drgnkillers list, saying it'd "ruin his comeback" and proceeded to desperately make a debunk video about it all.

Its just more funny to look back at as time goes on because nothing changed. But this is the DSP Reboot guys! Its a new beginning! The hyooj comeback!

Kat was clearly a dollar sign until she stopped showing up to streams. Before she moved Phil was hyping co-op playthroughs and he would bring her in for streams to increase cheers/tips. Don't have the numbers to know if her presence was enough to have an effect but it was clearly Phil's intent.

That's likely why he was fuming about Tevin during Halloween. "It's Tevin's fault" that Phil can't pimp out Khet on streams for $$$.

I've been looking for a while for proof that DSP did not invent the word "playthrough", which he claimed a couple weeks ago. Today I spent a few minutes and found this video:

It predates his oldest video on darksydephil. I'm sure you guys have other examples, I just wanted to throw this out there to confirm he's full of shit.

I'm still not clear on how Phil concluded Tevin ran her off and we'll never know. Whatever happened between them during the break made Phil focus on Tevin. From what I remember Phil said she wasn't staying for the whole stream so he either made it all up to keep the money rolling, she left earlier and blamed it on the chat, or one of the many other reasons you could speculate. Can't see Kat mentioning Tevin by name, but anything's possible.

This was Kat's equivalent to Leanna's Kingdom Hearts moment. It happened and Phil will never speak about it again.

I think Kat bitched at him (and rightly so, imo) because 1) she never wanted to be on there anyway and 2) he probably promised a quick appearance and instead paraded her for a solid hour or two, as I recall. Naturally, he couldn't just admit he was wrong, so it had to be someone else's fault, and that someone was Tevin, who was definitely being a mean doodyhead.

You know that rant yesterday about his hair and snorting and how he has to snort made think about his most disgusting habit, burping. This dude just lets out belches like a wild animal and there’s just no reason for it, you know he doesn’t act like that in front of other people, it’s just a clear example of how little he respects the people that pay for him to live.

Far as I can remember, that's not a retcon, unless he's now saying that she never actually moved in. I thought she was supposed to move in (and maybe pay some rent?), then got sick and died, so it's been vacant ever since. @EddyB43, can you confirm or deny?

The same person who bought the second house he looked at because he was in a huge yank to get his would-be child bride away from her family before the machinima money ran dry.

The same person who bought his first condo to impress a woman who'd displayed no interest in him.

The same person who moved cross-country to begin with because he heard the words "less taxes" and never bothered to research further.

The same person who buys $300 headphones and then cries poor the next week.

The same person who admits to paying thousands of dollars of taxes with credit cards.

The same person who admits to taking out more and more lines of credit, robbing Peter to pay Paul and the other ten kneecapping apostles.

The same person whose solution to the Connecticut condo conundrum is to simply stop paying for it and allow the bank to foreclose (and then sue him).

The same person whose ten-year plan is literally relying on other people to carry him for the next decade while he does absolutely nothing different and then magically conjure a dream job from thin air which will somehow provide him all the benefits he expects, a comparable salary and the ability to scive off whenever he wants (which is always).

The same person who can't be expected to set up his streaming system, update games, go through a chargen, or bathe before beginning the first shift of the day.

The same person who hasn't updated, cleaned up, or defragged his computer since receiving it six years ago.

The same person who never got his oil changed because his dealership never called him to remind him to do so.


I could go on but I'm beginning to wonder whether Phil would have the foresight to remember to breathe if doing so somehow was not an autonomic function, and the fact that I can't come to a satisfactory conclusion means it's time for another shot of Drano.

I noted in the OP of the "ACKs the King Ep. 74" thread that Phil was “allowing my elderly aunt to live there”, “and she lived there for a good 2-3 years”.
