There's really nothing you can do to change the trajectory of an alcoholic's downward spiral. I've been in the place Gator was at. All Gator can really do is clean up after Ethan until one of four things happens: Ethan throws Gator away, Gator realizes he's allowed to wash his hands of the responsibility he think he has to have for Ralph, Ralph gets help, or he dies.

I also don't believe for a fucking second that Gator had no way to reach him if he wanted to. Always a good sign when I come back to a thread after an hour and there's ten new pages.

I'm awfully glad I chose today to get caught up on Ralph as I most likely would've missed this stream otherwise. Still sad to see Ralph in this state despite how fun it is experiencing it as it happens. I can hardly believe that this is the same show that I was tuning into almost daily only half a year ago. This brings me back to around the time of the Healstream when people were wondering if Ralph would end up being someone to actually come back from lolcowdom. Thinking that seems so quaint now with everything that's happened since.
