You don't pay attention to events much do you? Yeah, ChikFilA has good product but mainly are attacked constantly by leftist SJWs and refuse to bend to their demands. Each time they were attacked their sales skyrocketed because they stand their ground. Ethan claims to be a figure in a culture war taking a stand against SJWs but you just said he basically appeases them to maximize his dollar (pandering for Shekels like every major company). You're watching Ethan get rammed in the ass and castrated by SJWs and saying "just take it". Maybe you shouldn't say you're fighting a culture war when all you're doing is getting bent over in Zed's basement.
How fucking exceptional are you? Chick-fil-A provide a good product & service and don't go out of their way to antagonize their customer base. All of the push back to the company comes from the outside, from people REEE-ing about how they do business. Yes, they don't believe in gay marriage or opening on Sundays, but they don't promote that position and it's all secondary to selling sandwiches. Show me the no fags allowed CFA marketing campaign.

I'm not stupid enough to think the war can be won, especially over something as gay as superhero comicbooks. Guess what? The social credit score is coming for all of us no matter what fight you choose. You think Soros, Koch bros and other major corps joined arms to censor the web for fun? You think people at the top give a fuck about you? You think you are going to be able to fight back? How do you plan to organize? You think they wont use all the information collected since ~2002 against you? But OK let's hear your big brained plan to save the West, tell me how you are going to save free speech by railing against current pop culture. We along with 4chan (etc) are containment boards on their last breaths and at best are staving off the death of the internet as i grew up with and at worst accelerating that death.

Ethan should absolutely maximize his profit while he can. You know what would help that profit stream? Not getting banned off of every platform available. You say he should follow Vox day's trajectory... OK so tell me, how's Vox's profits working out BTW?

You're absolutely right, my issues with EVS is his apparent hypocrisy, claiming that some of these people are his friends only to turn around and cut them loose when he thinks the heat's coming on.
I can understand were you are coming from, but it comes across as internet fwends and welcome to business 101.

Chik-Fil-A isn't a political organization. It's a fast food chain. They focus on great customer service, a simple menu and good food. You'd never know their personal politics unless you investigated the Cathy family and their Southern Baptist roots, which is what SJWs do.

They aren't changing who they are, and neither am I.

Meanwhile, Burger King IS pandering to SJWs in their weirdo ads about the Pink Tax, and they're flailing around. Partisan politics kill business.

You don't win a culture war that SJWs are losing by losing along with them. You don't counter their extremist politics with your own. Just sell good shit and shut the fuck up.
I Agree, you're not changing yourself, instead you're hoping you can change comicsgate to fit what you want it to be. Only you can't make up your mind as to what you want it to be (should have left it alone and stopped trying to define it, all the fractures stemmed from you trying to define it). Every time deplatforming happens you crap your pants and roll over. When the voxadpocalypse happened you tried to throw Mike under the "subway". You walked it back when you didn't get the reaction you expected from the people who saw your actions for what it was (the same thing the mainstream does to conservatives).

Seems you're saying anyone who looks to you for promotion needs to share your outlook and be of the same opinion as yourself to use your platform.

I'm failing to see what the problem with this is? Why is EVS obliged to do anything for people he disagrees with on his platform? More to the point, why would they want to to be on his platform? That's the staggering level of entitlement I expect to see from SJW troons.

I don't remember where Ray sent a bunch of guys to the Burger King down the road and smashed the windows in while calling the owners pedophiles.

I don't remember Buger King autistically screeching demands that McDonalds needs to promote and sell their burgers, otherwise they're they're filthy fucking gate-keepers either.

You're absolutely right, my issues with EVS is his apparent hypocrisy, claiming that some of these people are his friends only to turn around and cut them loose when he thinks the heat's coming on. You can have a business (or a platform) and run it as magnanimously or as ruthlessly as you'd like, just don't go on social media and say "so and so is my friend and everybody's going to make money" then turn your back on your "friend" because he or she said or did something unpopular or controversial or just dumb, that's not friendship; real friends don't do that to each other. I mean if you're an asshole, just be an asshole, don't fake a smile and tell me your my uncle, I'm too old for that shit.

They could go off and do their own thing, but instead they and their acolytes would rather hang around like some jilted ex that can't move on.

MOVE ON.

What is this "so and so is my friend" bullshit? "Internet friends," now?

I don't cut loyal friends loose ever. That should be evident by my close friendship with Zack. If ever there was a person who did something unpopular and controversial, that it was inconvenient to associate with, it was Zack. Everyone in comics threatened me because I stood with him, told me it would ruin me. I don't walk away from loyal friends. I do everything I can to help them.

I've never met 90% of the people I promote on ComicsGate Live. They're people who have asked me for help in promoting their projects because either they believe in what I preach, or they're using me to get their footing and make a few bucks. It all becomes clear to the customer eventually, and it's no fun for me to discover the latter. But it is what it is.

Frankly, some people just decide they don't like me very much. That's okay too.

This is getting off-topic, but I disagree with that - to me, a real friend would support me, but also point out if I'm being dumb or stupid or seemingly haven't considered the ramifications of my actions. And if what I was doing had the potential to hurt them, they would have no obligation to let me do so under the guise of friendship.

I'm dumb sometimes - or more than sometimes, depending. We all are. I also trust my friends to be able to point out those times to me, or disagree with me about things, or not get dragged down when I'm doing something dumb that includes them - which, as a friend, I would hope not to be doing anyway.

Also, I'm not in any way a public figure. Having one's friendships, relationships and business associations all played out in public means a lot more things I do have the possibility to impact everyone around me, especially in a culture where guilt-by-association is such a common weapon. I have the luxury of any confrontations or problems I have being dealt with in private. These people, admittedly partly by choice, can't do that nearly as easily.

We all get to make judgements about these sorts of things. It's the reason the Farms exist, so we can share those judgements with people just as happy to laugh at speds as we are. I just wanted to point out that people have differing definitions of what constitutes friendship, and that when work and money and the public eye get involved, it becomes a lot more complicated than just unwavering loyalty and support.

Thank you for this...it's hard to put into words sometimes, and in one particular case, this is exactly right.

The Cathy family has not made their position a secret. It's been well-known in the LGBT community since the mid-90s at least. However, it's also been well-known that the local franchise owners and employees do not inherently follow those politics.

Surprisingly, the behavior of some Marvel and DC contractors/employees toward customers has been the reverse of that in recent years.

"Woe is me" You surround yourself with yes men. You've called almost everyone on your panels friends at one point. Everyone you've had a falling out with weren't loyal because they werent buying what you were selling. All the fractures and they were the problem not you? Like a 50 year old who's never been married, maybe it's not the people they date who are the problem. Red flags surround sound you.

You're a dumb faggot who still apparently watches his livestreams and is wayyyy too invested in someone you apparently don't like.

I'm sure EVS thanks you for the YouTube views you give him though.

When YoungRippa says to monetize your haters he's talking precisely about people like you. You think coming here to sperg out gives you some sort of standing when the person you're screaming about is laughing all the way to the bank. If you really wanted to hurt EVS you'd ignore him, but I got a feeling that's probably out of the question for you.

Haven't watched his streams in months. Seeing how mad you are that I'm criticizing him maybe you want his little chode in your ass? Ethans a big boy and can take criticism... wait, he can't. He blocks everyone who criticizes him on Twitter and calls them "stalkers" You don't like my opinions oh fuckin well get over it faggot.

I haven't seen this much fucking drama in electronic format since the Goons proceeded to rape EVE Online's biggest guild using social engineering and meta platforming.
I don't mind. I'm here for the lolz, doesn't matter if they come from free range cows or forum speds. Lolz are gained.

Had a feeling this thread would become ten timers gayer and more autistic the moment @FROG showed up (no offense to him).

Now I feel that I have to apologize to @FROG for all the spergery directed at him in this thread.

High school girly cliques have nothing on you all.

🍿🍿🍿
I'm glad you're entertained, I just want to add in my defense that I'm not the sperg who opened an account just to defend myself from other, anonymous spergs on the internet 🤡

Seems to me threads always immediately become shitshows when any of the person(s) involved in the thread topic decide to jump in. See @theralph for example.
