I have a feeling the only reason he's kept around is because of Sabat.

Isn't he friends with Sonny Strait? Does Sonny have some power at FUNimation by any chance? If so, I think even if Sabat is gone but Sonny remains, Sean might still stay, but I can see him leaving on his own accord should Sabat get the boot.

Sean isn’t liked by fans and hated by some VAs and is kept around. Has to be Sabat. I’m surprised knives haven’t already been sunk into sean’s Back by other VAs.
Sean likely doesn't have knives in his back because Sabat keeps everyone on a leash, the only way to make inroads in the Texas VA scene is through that Joss Whedon looking turd. After he gets them a few auditions they owe him and now he owns them, just look at how many of them were willing to throw themselves from a cliff and skip their Kamehacon bookings.

It's probably Sabat since he owns (one of?) the recording studios that Funimation uses. That alone likely gives him an inordinate amount of control. It also means he's got a lot to lose if his dumb ass gets dragged into court for the stupid shit he's alleged to have been pulling.

He owns Okratron 5000, one of the physical studios Funimation uses, especially for Dragonball. It also does occasional non-Funi jobs like games. Funimation does have their own inhouse studio.

Have either of them acknowledged that they straight up demanded the "victims" identities be revealed in government documents after pathetically trying to say the confidentiality was FOR the victims identities? Or are they trying to sweep that under the rug like it never happened?

Their audience is comprised solely of utter morons, so they think they can get away with the latter. Good luck getting away with it in court.

Oh how I would love for Sean to get caught with pedo accusations. His mental breakdown would be glorious.

He reminds me of Jewfro from Game Grumps. They both look like they don't wash and haven't done anything to their hair in god knows how long. Their hair is a hive of scum and villainy.

@AnOminous, if one of Casey's clients wanted the confidentiality agreement and the other didn't, what would happen then? Also, isn't him defending two unmarried parties kind of a conflict of interest, since at some point it might be better for one of his clients (Monica) if he threw the other one (that guy who just can't STFU) under the bus?

If it ripens into an actual conflict of interest, Casey has to withdraw from the case entirely and both litigants must retain their own counsel.

Can one of them keep Casey on as their lawyer or does his involvement in both defendants' cases mean he's required to get out of there?

Where is the line drawn in a conflict of interest, since he's representing two separate parties named in the same lawsuit?

Spousal-privilege doesn't apply, since they're not married (and are vocal about just being engaged), so can they be compelled to testify against each other during their depositions?

Sorry for badgering you, I'm just interested in how this all works.

No, he has to withdraw from the case entirely and not represent either of them.

If I'm not mistaken, the other attorney from Kessler Collins would also have to withdraw. Not only that, but in such a conflict because of the information gathered by each firm, the firms themselves would have to not represent either party so MoRonica would have to go to entirely new lawfirms that have to start the case nearly from scratch.

Any chances you think he might be considering a lawyer version of coyote ugly because I can't imagine he's too happy with what he's woken up next to given the massive levels of moronic behavior from his clients so far. I mean at some point he has to know that the retainer is going to run out and if I were him I wouldn't exactly expect my clients to be particularly flush after the trial.

You guys.....maybe we did cause the Dallas shooting. @Shane_Yes_That_One told Brian Isaack Clyde to blast up a building because Shane Holmberg was kicked out of A-Kon. Shane wanted revenge--weeb revenge. Why would you do this @Shane_Yes_That_One? Shane Holmberg, that lives at 3910 Old Denton Rd, APT 708 Carrollton, TX 75007 (DOB: January 19, 1976), stop inciting violence!
