I knew I recognized that name. She half-heartedly flamed my favorite guilty pleasure, a Transformers Prime slash fanfiction. She posted like four reviews, but none of them were angry, just bitchy. Can't really blame her, she's been doing this long enough to run out of sheer anger. She's probably just doing it out of self-righteousness, now.

This one's the longest, and spergiest. The others are pretty much saying the same things, but in less words; Says it's bad without saying how, followed by insults as piercingly personalized as a Hallmark giftcard, ending on tryhard pseudo-humor.

Ah, fanfiction flamers... such memories it brings! The person I mentioned the the FF.net thread also had a friend who went around "flaming" other people's fanfiction (usually a 13 year olds first effort because they were too chickenshit to go after someone their own age) all with the flare of a early 2000's Hot Topic shirt.

This was once a all too common practice, which whole clusters of "flame groups" used to run scripts to "mass report" fanfiction which didn't fit their ridiculously high standards. I thought the whole "flame" community died out with Tumblr getting big and GAFF long gone, but nope! here is a fox otherkin (what is it with lolcows and foxes?) keeping the dream alive.

I don't think The Fox Familiar is an otherkin. I just she thinks it's cool to compare herself to a fox hunting prey in the night.

The weird thing is that the rants don't seem to have any religious basis, which is kinda what you would expect; Foxy doesn't hate gay people because they think that's what God wants (and as a Catholic, no, that's not what He fucking wants you idiots), they seem to just really hate gay people just because. Is there a source for that kind of hatred? It's really confusing.

I've got two. I'm a fan of Assassin's Creed and it's one of the few fandoms I'll read fanfiction for. Apparently TFF feels the same way. I've stumbled across a few of their reviews but I can only think of two off the top of my head.

I think Fox Familiar is convinced that homosexuality is a genetic defect and spreads STDs, and that, despite not being super religious, homosexuality is unnatural and a sign of moral degeneracy, just because it goes against... something. She approaches her views on homosexuality less like "it'll make God mad" and more like "it is a failure of human evolution."

I've said it once, and I'll say it again: homosexuality is unhealthy and unnatural. There is no gay gene. You were not born that way. It is a disorder. It lowers birthrates. And no, you will NEVER, EVER BE EQUAL TO HETEROSEXUALS.

I don’t think you realize that Masyaf was besieged by Robert de Sable after the Assassin raid on Solomon’s Temple. The entire conflict was based on the Pieces of Eden, and neither the Saracens nor the Crusaders were aware of the whole debacle. The Templars knew, because in multiple conspiracy theories they were said to have guarded God’s treasures, and Assassin’s Creed implemented some of that in the game. The Assassins never formed a coup with Saladin because he murdered a few of their own; Saladin wanted nothing to do with them, probably because he thought they were just another sect of Templars.

Okay, did just that: I found that the cultures that accept a 'Third Gender' are: Pakistan, Australian Aborigines, Thailand, India, and Nepal. Pakistan is known for its boy-loving and paedophilic tendencies, both from the influence of Islam and their basic culture. There, women are not seen as humans but are undesirables; to Pakistanis, young boys are preferred. At least the Bible has the excuse of being broken into two segments, the Old and New Testaments. Christians are really only supposed to follow the New Testament (as Jesus got rid of a lot of the laws of the Old Testament). That what Catholicism (my faith) teaches, anyway. Fundamentalists often get their own ideas, though.
