Some of the shit you see on there is so overt, that honestly, you'd think it was a shitpost anywhere else. It's not even just from the left either. I've seen some right wing accounts which are just as obvious shekel grubbers.

Shit is fucking creepy. First thing that set me off on this was "I was a Republican, but now I spend 18 hours a day bitching about DRUMPF." I mean fuck... I went from neo-con to Ron Paul, to Trump, to Natsoc. I don't go after any of those old ideologies (including neo-con) like this fucker does the right wing. Shit just screams all kinds of wrong to me.

It's not really. You slowly start to realize that your desire to be left alone, and be able to think what you want is, diametrically opposed to those that demand you wholeheartedly accept anything which is thrown at you.

Most still do. Most however, also question whether collusion with a communist state to achieve dominance in a market, could still be called "free enterprise." Even despite the fact that these powers have outright expressed their contempt for the people they profit from.

Well yeah... A peoples without a government would be far better off than a peoples with a government that served another master.

tldr: You start to realize that your liberty, is in fact diametrically opposed to what others consider liberty.

Using your thread as a platform to bitch about Twitter's weird fucking shit. I finally made an account, after someone told me you no lone had to use a fucking phone number to use Twitter. So I make one, so I can finally follow some of the drama on their. I make an account. I follow Donald Trump, Josh, Metokur, Josh, and Ty Beard (for the glorious drama of course). Never got a chance to make a post. Next thing I know this is the only screen Twitter will load for me.

I don't know if my friend was wrong, or if Twitter has specifically targeted me, because of who I followed. I also tried making another account. This time I didn't follow anyone but immediately started to shit-post on Ethan Ralph, by the time I made two comments I got samescreened again.

Not sure if you actually just 100% have to have a phone number, but when you sign up it says you can use an E-Mail address instead, and lets you go ahead and complete making your account without out one. Also, it doesn't just say that I need a phone number (as you can see if you can read), but instead it reads: "Your account appears to have exhibited Unusual Behavior that violates the Twitter Rules" so I think my possible conspiratard shit might be right and Twitter just targets people in groups they don't like and makes them use Phone Numbers so they can better track them.

The internet went from the freest thing in human history to Big Brother so damn fast, in like, what, half a decade?

And it doesn't get any more Big Brother than Twitter, the Twitter hive mind literally tries to tell you what to think about literally every single thing in the world, it is indeed creepy that there is this massive groupthink movement that only gets angrier and angrier and more and more controlling by the day.

I imagine it was an algorithm which caught you following too many accounts "too quickly". It did the same thing to an alt account of mine and then asked for a phone number. Twitter is basically requiring you to doxx yourself in order to use their platform now. I never had this issue with an older account (probably 2-3 years old).
 
If you use a throwaway email, they know. If anything I feel like that redflags you, unless you seriously cover your tracks with VPN, darknet, etc. In which case, companies like Palantir have you redflagged in some way. Maybe unless you're very good at covering your tracks.

While Twitter may no keep track of that kind of thing, Google FB and Microsoft sure do.

I recently set up a new Twatter account myself (which I have since decided not to use). It was also locked in the same manner as BoingoTango's was. I didn't follow anybody and nobody followed me; there was no time. I was locked out in 5 minutes, and given the same options to unlock it. There was nothing untoward about my account; I was planning to use it for my business.

Frankly, I think Twatter is just phishing for phone numbers. Some real-world identifying info, just in case I decide to shoot up a mosque or make fun of someone's lisp or something. However, if they ask for the phone number upfront, a lot of people will decline to join. So they have to do it this sneaky way. Maybe I am off base, but that's the way I see it.

I was an autistic shut-in, but now I spend 14 hours and 88 minutes a day bitching about SJWs.

But seriously dude that defensive attitude is going to give you heart problems down the road. The system of bureaucracy in this country is so fucking fat and indolent that I just do not see an extremist ideology ever taking over on either end of the spectrum. Like the Salem Witch Hunts, this kind of thing will be over the moment some pencil-pusher gets accused of sexual harassment and immediately the paper hivemind will pass a ten million page law restricting precisely how sexual harassment reports can be filed and precisely how they can be enforced.

The Deep State is real, it just works 9:00-5:00, gets every holiday off plus vacation days, has a 1-hour lunch, and a generous retirement package. All for the price of being an incredibly boring fuck.
