There is an idea of a Natalie Wynn Parrott, some kind of abstraction, but there is no real me, only an entity, something illusory, and though I can hide my cold gaze and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable: I simply am not there. It is hard for me to make sense on any given level. Myself is fabricated, an aberration. I am a noncontingent human being. My personality is sketchy and unformed, my heartlessness goes deep and is persistent. My conscience, my pity, my hopes disappeared a long time ago (probably at Georgetown) if they ever did exist. There are no more barriers to cross. All I have in common with the uncontrollable and the insane, the vicious and the evil, all the mayhem I have caused and my utter indifference toward it, I have now surpassed. I still, though, hold on to one single bleak truth: no one is safe, nothing is redeemed. Yet I am blameless. Each model of human behavior must be assumed to have some validity. Is evil something you are? Or is it something you do? My pain is constant and sharp and I do not hope for a better world for anyone. In fact I want my pain to be inflicted on others. I want no one to escape. But even after admitting this—and I have, countless times, in just about every act I’ve committed—and coming face-to-face with these truths, there is no catharsis. I gain no deeper knowledge about myself, no new understanding can be extracted from my telling. There has been no reason for me to tell you any of this. This confession has meant nothing.…

Anyways, I don't know if Contra is a Commie, I'm just kind of assuming that because I was spying on a classmate once, and he had ContraPoints subscribed on YouTube.

Now, this dude was the most arrogant, slimy piece of Red shit I have ever met, so I can only assume that ContraPoints is an equally terrible person.

I don't want to watch Contra to tell because I don't want AIDS.

Like every other big Breadtuber, he is what we in French would call somebody with "his heart on the left but his wallet on the right" (or, to use an English expression, a champagne socialist), and a particularly striking one at that. That is, he claims to be smashing the big bad capitalist system while earning a shit ton of money a year thanks to Patreon and spending said pay pig bucks on expensive video setups, clothes, makeup, surgeries, booze and drugs.

In all actuality, I think Ellis is almost entirely a hack and nowhere near as talented as some of his contemporaries (e.g. and in particular, DFW). Still, there are very brief and fleeting moments of genius to be found in his books and articles; it's just that one has to sift through a mountain of garbage to actually find them. Once again though, I don't care about Ellis' social reputation -- his art can speak for itself, and is a separate issue entirely. Same deal with Wallace, who's been well documented as being cruel to women in his life -- it doesn't make Infinite Jest any lesser of a novel.

I was reading an article on rhinoplasty recently and found it amusing how much the 'SIMON' acryonym/warning seems to describe Nyk:

edit: to be more overt about my opinions on Ellis. The guy and his writing sucks, there's no doubt about it. But even a broken clock can be right twice a day.

Who is even making money out of being alt-right? I guess Ezra Levant does by being alt-light at best, but everyone else in that sphere is kicked off Patreon and payment processors. This guy is so laughable saying he was radicalized by Molymeme and Southern. I don't believe for a moment that anyone alt-right is de-radicalized by Contrapoints.

On the contrary, anyone gullible and impressionable enough to be manipulated by the likes of Molymeaux or Lauren Southern is just... well. They're fucking DUMB is what they are. And so it's not entirely surprising if such an idiot later allows themselves to be manipulated by someone equally ridiculous and mentally-vacuous like Contrapoints. These sort of conversions aren't something Nyk should mark down as a personal victory: it just proves that his converted fan-base is comprised of utterly moronic vassals that can't even think for themselves.

On the other hand, it *is* another paypig from which to extract monthly capital from. Although aren't most of these alt-right patsies incel NEETs anyways?
