I'm sure if you called him on it he'd pitch a bitch, too. "Of course we eat out on our day off - we're out all day! What are we supposed to do, not eat for ten hours?! (dismissive laugh) Gedafukouddahere!" Because making a few bologna sandwiches and throwing them in a cooler with a couple apples is just completely out of the question.

At this point I'm not even surprised. No one should be. His last con was as good as blown, and anyone who believes his cover story of really using all his money for taxes while Mommy covered the entirety of his wedding plus a tax down payment should be placed in assisted living. But people are still donating. Why the fuck should he even bother covering for himself anymore? He can be as blatant as he wants and the support isn't going to go away. If I was a human barnacle I wouldn't see a problem with that, either; his fans are completely hopeless, and it's more of a blow to his ego to be caught lying again than it is to accept taking money from disabled idiots.
People don't have to buy the con to donate. I'd argue most know he is full of shit, and the few you could call true believers have been outed as legit exceptional in some way. People donate for attention, to ask questions, trolling attempts, etc. Not everyone cares if Phil goes out of business or if there money keeps him going. Trust me as someone who doesn't understand giving money to any streamer period giving it to Phil makes even less sense, but to each there own.

Did someone actually donate 100 dollars, to cover buying a 60 dollar game + taxes? Glad I'm not from the US, your taxes are wild. You guys should start a revolution or something at this point. Or maybe put all that 'taxmoney' towards teaching Phil's audience elementary mathematics.

I’m murderously sure our taxes aren’t that batshit. Phil’s just a greedy little fuckstick who is using his fans as his own personal welfare system...

This would be pretty neat just to see whether behaves the same way in a more private setting. If you decide you want to do this, let us know and we'll figure out the best way to make it happen.

There was that time last June when DSPGaming got de-monetized for spamming Google+, and his private videos were made public, including his Q&A videos 🤓

@thedingledongle if you're video's in this playlist @LyteSydeByll had the presence of mind to save, maybe you could say it's included without revealing your name, or even just say it's basically similar to them 🤔

Washington state has 10% sales tax. $66 of that $100 went towards the game. The other $24 is none of your business!

Phil's problem with not having enough time to do anything is his own fault. He makes his own schedule. Phil isn't broadcasting a television show on network TV. He could do a surprise stream at literally any time and pull 300 viewers. By limiting himself to adherence to a self imposed schedule he is the only one to blame for not having time to do anything.

Can't exercise because he has no time? Exercise, take a shower, and then stream. Can't cook a decent meal because he has no time? Cook with Kat for a couple of hours and stream later. Can't straighten out his money problems because he has no time? Take care of business and stream later.

It's not some complicated puzzle. Phil has an audience. They will show up whatever time he streams.

Phil thinks he has a television show that has a time slot and people will be confused if he doesn't show up. Tevin doesn't have a set schedule and people show up when he streams. Same thing with LSB. Metokur was doing a very early morning show on Stream.me and people showed up. Even Spoony, who rarely does anything, has people show up when he streams out of nowhere.

If Phil streams, people will watch. The time doesn't matter. Therefore he can do whatever he doesn't have enough time to do first and stream in the leftover time.

It's so dumb.
I think his absurd adherence to an autistic schedule is a good example of how his mind poorly works. I genuinely think that dave thinks if he doesn't have a set schedule people will for some reason not show up. Like the dude has refused to swap games that he’s not enjoying because hes so determined to stick to his schedule. It’s so fucking weird

also wtf is this....did this dude really make a site for dark to ignore Minecraft guides....

EDIT: accidentally quoted you @wilji1090, sorry!

That was a while ago. Since then he's repeatedly donated a dozen or so times per stream anyway because Phil's told him he doesn't have time to read his guide and if that's not an S-Class Cucking boy I don't know what is.

People think Phil's schedule is broken because it's inefficient and requires him to spend all day doing nothing to accomplish a few basic tasks that are impossible to fuck up and take maybe 20 minutes, not counting streaming.

What people don't realize is that it's working EXACTLY as intended. Phil's schedule is a defensive wall behind which he can hide from any and all responsiblity for himself.

Phil doesn't plan his life around effeciency or getting shit done, every step Phil takes is to ensure his comfort at the bare minimum amount of effort.

Phil's schedule, like his 'bills' argument, is specifically crafted to prevent Phil from ever needing to do anything except sit at home. In his mind it's the ultimate trump card.

See, when he says the magic "taxes" word, he's including all taxes, including the federal and state taxes he'll have to pay on the $60. And because he's clear as mud on what his tax rate is, he can hand wave the money up to $100 from $60. That's why he's trying so hard to get people to just send him PSN credits and stuff like that too, because he gets the game for free and doesn't have income to report (although I would imagine it would count as a business-related exchange and thus could be taxable).

no no, boomer will want a $3k laptop just to monitor chat and whatever else he does with laptops.

BILLS, DOOD!!! It went toward his bills, okay? He gets bills everyday. He has to pay bills for receiving and paying other bills.

Well if that 66 goes to the purchase, that's still $100 he still has to pay income tax on, so he's going to need at least another $100 dollars to cover the true cost of being a streamer.

The thing with needing more money to play a game is, especially in the case of Days Gone something he was likely to play regardless and got several days of content out of, is that he gets a lot of income from playing the game itself anyway. He acts like his youtube revenue is non-existant and that people don't throw him quarters nigh constantly even when he's just doing pre-stream. Even if a fan directly subsidized a game, say $30 bucks.

Nothing groundbreaking here. It's pretty much the same as DSP Tries It, when he'd say I have to pay like $20 bucks for a burger, for daily sustenance and I'm not even gonna make X amount of dollars out of it. It's one of the more truly exceptional things to me though.

No! His income from playing games is zero dollars because all the money goes straight to bills, dood!

This comment made me realize that's actually Phil's definition of "income", or at least that's how he treats it. Income for him isn't all the money he receives for providing goods and services via a business. Income is fun money with which he gets to do whatever he wants. It's his allowance. So his expectation really is, "all bills paid every month" as a baseline and then discretionary cash on top of that. Oh and also all of his operating costs paid, too, because it's unrealistic to expect a carpenter to buy wood or tools, or a restauranteur to purchase ingredients.

I can't wait for the Laptop-replacement saga...
...."so you guys...*snort* I need a fully spec'd macbook, okay?"

Dood, you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Ok, I know you guys are quite young and don't understand life, but let me explain something to you: macbook is NOOOT. a gaming laptop. Ok?? Even though I don't PLAY the games on my laptop, it needs just as much power as if it was running the actual game, that is why my laptop isn't good enough anymore. I mean... euhm... WOW DOOD WTF, did you see that?? euhm... *snort* so yeah, ideally... and I do mean IDEALLY... I would need an Alienware laptop for everything to be working correctly. Just being honest. If I were to want to interact with chat... okaay? I would need a top-line gaming laptop because otherwise, the chat will be delayed because the laptop can't process everything, that's just how it is. So if you want more interaction, a macbook is NOT. ENOUGH. But I don't expect you guys to know that. *snort* I used to... build computers... okaaay? So luckily, I learned all this stuff back then, and so it's funny to hear idiots like you talking about shit you don't know anything about *snort* mueehah, know what I mean? Just to cause drama... yeaaah, he's just trying to cause shit for no reason. Other than to be a little shithead. *FINAL ULTIMATE SNOOOORT* mueehaahaah

INFO:

If you guys like my imDSPression, I'll be performing every tuesday night at the Gout Factory. Just drive west from any Laugh Factory until you can hear disgusting snorts, can't miss it.

Keep in mind his constant lies e.g. Giving money to charity regularly.

He ain't lying. Considering he himself is a charity case, that's just called "buying himself things".

He's too defiant to change, so nasty to people who suggest logical changes he could make, makes the same mistakes repeatedly, claims to be on the brink of collapse, and then gets bailed out again and again by idiots who give him their cash.

Phil is that one kid that you saw hesitating to jump off some barnroof to impress everyone, but after you tell him he's gonna hurt himself very badly if he does, he's 100% determined to cannonball off it while screaming "DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO", just to do the opposite of what you told him. Then while he's in the hospital with a broken femur, an accordion'd spine, two ribs lodged into his lungs and one missing testicle, he (UNIRONICALLY) thinks: "yeah, I sure showed him didn't I?" *sips his blended steak through a straw*

I don't think he will go with a macbook, what is more likely is that he tries to e-beg for some 2-4K "gaming" laptop and bitch about needing something that powerful to "interact" with his chat

What was his excuse for the expensive car he had/has? Could he use the same excuse to get an expensive laptop?

You forgot oscillating between begging for medical bill money, insisting he's not hurt at all bc he's a big strong MAOWN, blaming his injuries on the gravity devs for Bugged Schrodinger Mechanics (tho he wouldn't know that word so we'll just replace it with "falling"), & insisting that he never actually fell but sprouted wings & took flight & the entire operation was a spectacular success & the 38 different cell vids of his faceplant circulating the internet are all out of khanteckst.

And he'd say all of these things within one sentence while livestreaming from a bodycast in his hospital bed.

He would be well within his right to consider those 'gifts'. His choice to use those gifts later for his self-employed sole proprietorship is another issue but there's nothing saying he can't just not do that if he chooses to either, so he has plausible tax deniability there.
