What, you mean the t-shirt he's wearing? Lolita is Nyk's favourite novel, he said so in a reply to a Youtube comment:

Nyk has included samples from the 1997 movie adaptation with Jeremy Irons in his early videos, like here in his Pop Feminism video.

In his video about PUAs (his response to Roosh V), where Nyk supposedly proceeds to write down a list of all the women he's had sex with, he includes Lolita in that list:

I don't know why Nyk included Lolita in this list given that it's a fictional character, maybe that was supposed to convey the fact that men lie about whom they've had sex with, or Nyk was just trying to be gross by suggesting he himself is a Humbert Humbert pedophile figure? I don't know what his mental illness told him to do, I find his constant "jokes" about pedophilia (like Nyk even accusing his own mom of being a pedophile in the Psychiatry video, "for the lulz") rather suspicious. I think it's relevant to Nyk's sickening obsession with youth and his obsession with younger women who represent the youth he will never have and can never hope to obtain, no matter how much HRT he swallows or how much FFS he undergoes. Nyk's obsession with castrato Kim Petras as the HSTS perfectly passing early transitioner Nyk wished he was but will never be also fits into this pattern. Nyk must have enjoyed the book because he identified with wanting to possess youth so madly to the point of committing a series of crimes to obtain "it". There are also sections in the book where Humbert Humbert describes lying to his psychiatrists in order to get a longer stay at the sanatorium, this was probably something else Nyk must've identified with, this lying to doctors "to get the diagnosis you want" (something Nyk himself was long experienced with, as per his Psychiatry video).

There is also a part in the book where Humbert Humbert goes out shopping for dresses that he wants Lolita to wear for him. Lolita isn't actually there with Humbert to pick a dress for herself, he is in the shop picking out all the dresses he likes. The way this shopping spree is described in the book makes Humbert Humbert sound like a textbook AGP, like he would rather be wearing those dresses himself. I imagine that this is what troons mean when they say "gender euphoria". I bet Nyk must've picked up on it too when he read that part.

Most people don't even know that the book was inspired by a real life incident. I bet Nyk didn't know this either.

Good observation, I didn't know this. I wonder if Nyk projects himself into the position of Humbert Humbert or Dolores Haze more. With people like him (narcissists), it's not necessarily that they are chasing a person they find attractive, it's that they want to be what they find attractive. I'm not saying Nyk is a kiddy diddler but he explicitly wants to be a woman who looks young. And as you pointed out at some point in this thread, his "type" is small brunettes.

Personally, I think Pale Fire is the better Nabokov novel, but I think Lolita is definitely worth reading.

To add to @whatintheheck’s remark, I take issue with that every detail is spun as a negative, essentially giving half-truths in lieu of mere details, which is tantamount to defamation.

There is enough wrongness with the person of interest to hold her in contempt without resorting to the insinuation that Wynn’s degeneracy overlaps with paedophilia.

Kiwi Farms is full of threads with comments where people obsess over some details of some person, so again, did you have a look around here before you signed up? (Also, I have told you repeatedly not to post questions levelled at me directly here in the the thread.) It's so typical how these things go: When I don't post links to every single thing I attribute to Nyk, people come in here and complain "where's the receipts?" (well, Nyk deleted most of them to cover up, and no, I do not have back ups of literally everything I have seen him say or do over the years). When I do try to post all the links and receipts (the few that are still available anyway, after Nyk DFEd the bulk of it), people like you come in and complain that it's "over-obsessed" to post the receipts... that others asked for. Damned if you do, damned if you don't I guess.

The book is written entirely from the perspective of Humbert Humbert the pedo so Nyk is definitely identifying himself with the main character. Humbert Humbert is the one plotting and scheming and lying to his psychiatrists to obtain the thing he's not supposed to have. Humbert Humbert is the one who admits that he can't have satisfying relationships with older women and that he's merely using his relationships to older women for the veneer of normalcy and respectability in order to gain access to younger girls, like he does with Lolita's mother. If I recall correctly there's even a part in the book where Humbert Humbert describes the tediousness of his academic career (another front he uses to feign normalcy and lucidity) with the same sense of blasé boredom that Nyk describes his own brief career in academia as a TA at Northwestern. AFAIK Nyk was never molested as a child (Theryn emphatically claimed that Nyk accusing his mother of molesting him in the Psychiatry video was just "for the lulz") so who the fuck else is he going to identify with in that book, a tween getting raped? (I never for a moment really believed that Nyk watches Perfect Blue and identifies with Mima either. I know Nyk claims to watch the movie that way, but I do not for a moment believe that. Mima's character (SPOILERS) gets raped by a stalker onstage. I'm supposed to believe that Nyk identifies with that?) Humbert Humbert is articulating Nyk's own pathological obsession with and quest for the one thing he is not supposed to have, youth (which is also the subtext of Perfect Blue, it's about the loss of youthful relevance driving someone insane). Nyk has merely found a way - or so he thinks in his crazy head - to short-circuit this by becoming the young girl himself, assuming he has found a way out of that obsessive impulse by narcissistically projecting it onto himself. Which is bullshit because if it were that simple we would just ask pedophiles everywhere to just become self-obsessed AGPs instead... oh wait...

What is with all of the complaints about bitchiness, unnecessary gossip and obsessing? What do people expect when they sign up to this site? 90% of it is dedicated to shit talking and taking the piss out of people. Until said cow has produced fresh milk, in Nyk's case uploaded a new video, you can't expect much except over-analyzing what already exists. It's fun.

I think @Nykysnottrans is a little too quick to assume that Nyk is reading the thread and then making unintentional references to it elsewhere. I could believe the Middlemarch thing but a lot of the instances/evidence are quite dubious. For example, referring to himself as “a witch in the woods” was supposedly related to our discussion about The Witches. I mean, maybe? But I’m not nearly as convinced of that as Nykys is, it seems like confirmation bias to me.
Nyk may very well be actively reading the thread though, that’s a definite possibility.

I do genuinely appreciate random jokesters like @Icasaracht coming in here and shaking things up a little, it keeps this fun and interesting.

In painting and gemmary, Contra, like his countrymen, was a quack, but in the matter of philosophy he was sincere. In this respect I did not differ from him materially; --I was skilful in commentary myself, and wrote Kiwifarm posts largely whenever I could.

Poe never tells you why Montresor was so mad at Fortunato..........and why he murdered him. You are left wondering if Fortunato actually wronged Montresor at all, or if Montresor is just a crazy person. But the mystery is why I think I enjoy her posts. Contra himself is rather boring and Nyknottrans is the only reason why I read this thread.
