As someone who doesn't know anything about trying a case it is tough to decide if Casey is a moron, trying his best to turn chicken shit into chicken salad, or a mix of both. It would be interesting for Nick to explain what he would have done in Casey's shoes after this is all over of course. Don't need to give the other side any ideas.

Casey is very inexperienced in this type of field and it very well shows. Any one can pass a test but applying that knowledge is a different dimension. Assuming Casey has some intelligence, I would assume he is trying what I call an intimidation tactic as he assumed his clients had the information they told him they'd provide and believed they did not have the damning evidence and was not worried enough. From what I got from talking to a super lawyer it seems like settling is not an option in their heads. So they'll keep going. After all of this, they will not settle as settle probably means losing in their eyes. He's trying to stall to get the evidence from Rial and Toye. The problem is that it doesn't exist. I don't think Casey is dumb but my god does he make even the most incompetent lawyer look good. I feel like they got the worst possible lawyer they could find.

But it sounds to me that Casey doesn't show dominance over his clients and kind of lets them still do all the damning stuff and doesn't kind of get forceful on stuff they aren't willing to turn over and instead attacks Beard for his own incompetence. Things start making a bit more sense as I'm sure by now he knows this is a losing case.

If he gets personally sanctioned for discovery abuse, it becomes less profitable for him to assist his clients in going on a rampage of unchecked shenanigans.

Imo moron. No attorney can turn chicken shit into salad after they’ve wiped their dirty dick on the judges curtains. Again IMO - but I’ve never wasted money on becoming a super lawlyer.

The only reason KF got relevant is because the KV side relied on nobody watching their shit fest and questioning anything. This is a site about picking apart and laughing at internet drama. Watching and autistically recording everything is what the Farms does

I don’t know that it’s reasonable to expect people to have a deep understanding of our culture, lore or even rules. (Certainly when they’re arguing in bad faith).

We’ve been derided on very big sites, and a cursory glance at the published articles would lead people to reasonably believe that KF is a harassment site. They’d be wrong, but it’s a reasonable conclusion based on the evidence available.

Similarly “harassment site attacking sexual assault victims into silence” is a scary statement, even if it’s not happening.
 
What happens if they don't have anything? I'm guessing the judge would rule for Vic. What would happen if Ron and Monica went on Twitter claiming "We were gathering evidence, but the judge didn't give us enough time." ? Would that be another lawsuit?

(They have had more than enough time. I'm throwing out the hypothetical that they would claim such a thing.)

Nick mentioned on his stream last night that Texas has a rule where if you want to appeal a judgement you need to post a bond to cover part of the original judgement.

They can spin it however they want to all of their sycophants online, but at the the end of the day they're unlikely to appeal and the judge will issue a ruling explaining exactly why their usual Twitter bullshit doesn't actually fly in a court of law.

They're now on protected but they have been badgering Nick for days now, pretty much in reply to every one of Nick's tweets with "help me get my main account back" and variations there of. I didn't pay them much mind at first as it just seemed to be your typical sperg not really related to any of this, but I'm somewhat certain one of their replies was along the lines of "Nick, contact me as i have info on a VA"

The problem is that now theyare protected i can't verify if that was indeed what they said.

My opinion is still that it is just a sperg who is trying ever so hard to get senpai to notice him.

They are constantly harassing Nick on twitter to the point Nick had to tell him to knock it off.


They systematically put themselves in protected for, whatever reason, but completely sperg out when they are active. ~800 tweets in 23 days, assuming the account was created on the 1st.
