Which is ironic, since he's Polish and would more likely be thrown in an oven than not.
1: NEVER compare a Jew to a Nazi (unless it's George Soros)
2: Never compare a Pole to a Nazi.

But Never EVER compare a Polish Jew to a Nazi.

I'm just sad that you can ruin a person's life like this. I'm afraid the only lesson that SJWs will learn isn't that you can't just spout accusations, but that you need a goddamn miracle to overturn them.

The case turned out perfectly in this case. Monica and Ron didn't shut up. Everybody except Vic sperged out on Twitter. While he was at his lowest suddenly he gets in contact with two hilarious lawyers that are emotionally invested in fighting for him. They managed to attract the attention of several groups, including KF, that were willing to go "now hol' up a minute" and try to smell the bullshit.

If Monica and Ron were just a bit smarter, we wouldn't be here.

And a little less spiteful as well. Then People would be talking about how awesome DBS:Broly is instead of this shit. However some good did some out from the bad, Nick rose up and so has Ty and RT and FUNI have been exposed for being rat-companies. Unless Vic Wins like a champ 88% of the way, then it's a blessing in disguise that we got to see them ruin themselves and give everyone a chance to rejuvenate the VA industry.

Oh Tatum will appear? Will his cumdump fiancee be there as well?

Tantrum is the Same to his little man's Uke. Oh, I bet they are inseparable.

Kiwifarms noticed shit was going down very early on, before Nick got involved. This popped up in the Anime/Manga thread.

Interestingly, most or a good chunk of us were thinking where there was smoke, there's fire - so initially thought that Vic was guilty.

But when things started getting spergy, the accusers started getting super defensive, and there was no evidence, and when KickVic was blowing things out of proportion (ie hugging a minor makes Vic a pedo), people like me started to question the narrative.

Also, didn't hurt that, out of all the players, Vic was the only one not acting like a tard on social media.

More importantly, to me, because they insisted he was a sexual predator/rapist, the lack of an actual rape allegation was conspicuous. And when the I09 article dropped - aside from the video-kiss-Monica story, Vic stopped when they put the breaks on. Same for Michelle on Twitter.

Given what we know now, I wouldn't be shocked if a lot of those encounters were greatly embellished, too.

Edit: also, apparently from the same few sources. Holy shit Beth, did you have to use aliases to hide the numbers of women? How many stories did you opt out of sharing because they contradicted your little narrative.

It's only a natural assumption that if there is a rape case to defend the victim until some question them. Then it's the victims duty to present the evidence as they have the burden of proof, however KV didn't have shit. That is why it's better to trust but verify because it's better to come to the rape victim or false rape accuser first but question them in order to confirm if their are lying or not because you don't know if they are raped or not and they are gonna be the most damage, not the accused unless they received bodily harm.

I actually deigned to read the original weeb wars thread and this one to see how things changed. Holy hell, seeing the forums evolve to possibly dunking on Vic to smelling bullshit and then grow firmly on ISWV was magical. Seeing how people got hyped up over the different developments, from the legendary Shane Stream (which was what really got me into this fiasco way back in Feb.) to Vic getting a lawyer, getting praised by Ty Beard and getting hype from the lawsuit? Anime doesn't bring the same levels of hype and character development lol.

I wouldn't waste their time. I also wouldn't waste my time emulating the same shit KickVic would do, had Vic said something similar.

These are assmad internet crusaders. Of COURSE they're going down with the ship (or at least will be the last rats off it.) Can we think of a time that didn't happen?

I had no idea about most of this stuff until the shane stream I stumbled on thanks to youtubes suggestions and then I started putting in time to research it myself. I have a lawschool degree, though I am not a practicing lawyer (I study as a hobby and have some unused degrees).

What got me mostly agreeing with ISWV are the inconsistencies and mistakes in the accusations. Most of the stories keep changing every time they are told. People don't even seem to remember the name of the school they went to!

My own stance is that the truth is more important than anything. Not just in this case, but every case. Feelings don't matter, they aren't a shield to hide behind if you lie nor an excuse to not act when you should. Feelings should be used to do something productive, and nothing else.

MoRon and Co. have REEEEE'd all over twitter at the mere suggestion that any evidence whatsoever be provided. We get that often it's a "he said, she said...." situation in these cases, but these idiots won't provide anything but a changing story. We aren't expecting 4k video evidence of a claimed sexual assault, but you need to provide SOMETHING. Especially after all the bold claims that were made.

if there was some kind of proof Vic did something, you guys would of found it months ago

Yeah, I believe it. KF isn't infallible, but no one can deny the dedication these people have to finding, analyzing and laughing at internet drama.

This is just one case where they're closer to the heart of it than most, because they're unofficially cooperating with one of the people working on the case, and one of the people closely involved is a fan of the Farms.

KF isn't even unofficially cooperating with anybody. KF is just doing what KF does anyways and Ty happens to use that to figure out things

I gotta admit, I was also on the "Vic might've done something" train at first, but with a twist: I thought the whole thing was just one huge misunderstanding. Since the original accusations against Vic didn't mention rape, I was willing to accept that Vic might've hugged one too many people who didn't want to be hugged, but that was it--the only thing he was guilty of was having a poor sense of personal space. That's why I was so blindsided when Marchi and Rial came charging in with the sexual assault allegations, since that wasn't even hinted at before.

Yeah monica's story is basically the only one where a date and time is provided. But what blows it apart, beside details changing from one telling to another, is that it was so traumatizing that she never reported it to a con, police, or friend till now while still acting like Vic's friends for several years. Hugging, acting playful, etc with vic. Im sry thats not the way a traumatized rape victim acts with their rapist.

Number of time weve heard story of girl sleeping around and then telling their spouse, fiancee or boyfriend they were raped instead of just admitting infedility is too common. But of course we just heard her story after the floodgates of rumours was open. So why not throw her hat in as well.

Also there was no witness, witness imply witnessing something. Per her own story she fucked off a room and didnt say shit. What the "witness" assume, felt or thought is irrelevant.

If he weren't such a useless tool he'd know that this is the same story that cropped up in that shitty hit piece from months ago that Vic had already completely denied. And just because hopeless idiots like him can't think of a reason or will intentionally wear blinders that prevent them from seeing a reason doesn't mean that one doesn't exist.

1) Why wasn’t this in the initial response?
2) Vic has denied this event specifically so we’re down to opposing accounts. Doesn’t prove jack shit, it just adds slightly more credibility to a single account in a sea of unsubstantiated bullshit that remains unsubstantiated.
3) There is no contemporary record of her sharing this account with anyone at the time, and the third party witness has not confirmed it.
4) There is no evidence in her behavior for many years of her showing discomfort with Vic, or any aprehension about being around him up until 2018-2019.
5) As far as we know, this account was not in the final HR investigation, meaning she did not share it, it was not seen worth investigating, was seen as impossible to substantiate, or it was investigated and not seen as credible.
6) Even apart from credibility issues, it still does not describe rape, sexual assault, pedophilia or any of the numerous other public claims made by Rial and Toye.
7) My speculation is that the encounter was either misread and misremembered or specifically twisted to the point where it’s meant to imply the worst possible outcome. It’s “he might have raped me if he hadn’t been stopped” not “he raped me”. And, most notably, it’s not even close to proving that this happened to scores of other women like they claimed. This is further complicated by the potential existence of a consensual sexual relationship between Vic and Monica either before or after this point, as some have speculated.

In conclusion, Monica has done the absolute bare minimum to establish a single event of something that wasn’t even sexual assault by legal definition and we have yet to hear from the witness in question. This is the only remotely substantial testimony they have provided despite loudly and publicly stating that they had large amounts of evidence for multiple claims.

And this is even before this claim has had the chance to stand up to scrutiny under oath in depositions.

They. Have. Jack. Shit.

Didn't the witness who was apparently concerned invite Vic the next year to the same convention? They also appeared at conventions together after this event took place and were seen hugging, chatting and laughing together. It's likely a twisted version of the truth, they went to Vic's hotel room to check out his video, they made out on the bed and were interupeted by the con owner knocking on the door to take them to dinner. He maybe noticed her looking a bit flushed and her hair all over so jokingly asked if she was okay.

Of course if the witness is willing to testify under oath and say he had concerns for her safety and witnessed Vic acting inappropriately then maybe there is something to it....Doesn't explain why he was willing to work with Vic again though if he felt something was bad.

My bet is that Michele Specht ist going to come out with her own Vic story. After all, she apparently has a hate boner for Vic. (Which is not that surprising, since he cheated on her a bunch. Nobody likes being cheated on) Liked a lot of kick vic stuff since the beginning of the year, some pretty extreme stuff, too, just like AWL's post calling him a rapist. Also answered people who asked about her liking kv stuff with a link to the io9 article. Monica mentioned her in her recounting of the alleged attempted rape in the papers. Maybe they're going to ask her to be a witness. Maybe she'll come out with a story like: "He always grabbed my hair. He was very aggressive during sex. He kept pictures of little girls in his nightstand at all times etc etc". Wouldn't necessarily have a negative effect for vic, since there are also most likely women (like Svetlana) who would testify that Vic is not like that at all. It would break Vic's heart though. And demoralize him.

That's part of my problem with this. I've been accused of sexually harassing a woman's daughter before, but all she did was yell at me via phone. Report that shit. If I was the creeper you accused me of, there'd be a pattern of reports. Not acting, in my opinion, implies consent because you are letting others suffer for your inaction.

One girl's mum ended a passionate phone call telling me off for having a sexual indiscretion with her daughter a year prior to said call (the both of us had regrets about even doing such a thing the day of, I discussed with her the self-disappointment I had in not being able to stick to my professed virtues a couple days after, and we never went beyond the occasional kiss in the following months) by saying that she would press charges for assault. Given that there wasn't a statute that'd have allowed me to suffer the penalty for statutory (we were both minors at the time and no statutory statute kicked in before age 18 ), the natural implication was that she was going to claim that I assaulted her daughter in absolute terms.

...she ended up not following through with that at all, content with just telling me off once more by text before severing contact between myself and her daughter. But concurrent to me fretting the possibility of a frivolous court procedure and law enforcement involvement even though I was aware that there'd have to be demonstration that actual assault occurred and I retained nearly every single correspondence we had (in text and in writing, all for posterity and sentimentality) and would be able to demonstrate that I did no such thing while having a stroke, the handling of the situation was particularly gross because it was someone threatening to act out their anger for a long dead topic in a destructively petty fashion (she couldn't just cut off communication between her daughter and me), said fashion involving the trivializing of the concept of sexual assault-- first by virtue of suggesting that I was responsible for such an act, secondly by threatening to file charges (not actually doing so), and thirdly for eventually not doing so at all, implying that she didn't even believe what she was saying and only wanted to spook me.

Said person also tried to claim, a year prior to this, that the new belle of her daughter's ex (a mutual friend at the time) was a pedophile because they got involved some time before she turned 18 (note what I mentioned about statutory where we were above).

Also, can we punch another hole into the kickvic narrative?

if vic is a pedophile, then how can he realistically be attracted enough to monica and other woman to sexually assault them? even assuming that they mean hebephile and not pedophile, there are woman involved that are several layers removed from being 17, the maximum age for a hebephile to find a woman attractive.

the answer is simple: its not and people are making bald-faced, reputation-damaging lies. I know this is common sense to us, but this is for new-time kickvic lurkers, like @Shane_Yes_That_One.

The implication is that he's equal opportunity, potentially because it's a power trip for him. Think Austin Jones.

Edit: also, apparently from the same few sources. Holy shit Beth, did you have to use aliases to hide the numbers of women? How many stories did you opt out of sharing because they contradicted your little narrative.

Unterkin didn't even bother to post Vic's responses to these allegations. I don't know why I doubted that she was a particularly trash journalist up until this point.

So Monica's claim is that Vic assaulted her in a sexual manner at a con, and then later she went to work for him, and was seen multiple times in public with him interacting in a very friendly manner.

I've quit jobs over conflict with coworkers before. I decided that I considered them sufficiently odious that I would rather not have money than work with them. For Monica to say what happened to her was sexual assault is for her to say that gossip is worse than sexual assault - because I wouldn't work with or be in the same room with someone who gossiped about me but she would be in the same room and work with someone who sexually assaulted her; and that petty office politics is worse than sexual assault, because I wouldn't work with someone who consistently undermined me and made biting remarks to me, but Monica would work with someone who sexually assaulted her.

This condescending, paternal attitude that we have to believe that women aren't capable of saying F you to their attackers and staying away from them is completely at odds with the idea that sexual impropriety is such a horrible, awful thing that even mild sexual impropriety is sufficient to drive a man out of the work force. I despise it because it infantalizes women, who are simultaneously so weak that they cannot stay away from the person who destroyed their lives and so strong that they ought to be the ones in charge of everything. I also despise it because it trivializes something that is truly awful.

The funny thing about that would be why wasn't that information in the i09 article then? You'd think she would have told all of that to Beth if any of it were actually true instead of something she would be trying to make up after the fact. She would have also kept working with Vic on Star Trek Continues after all of that as well and strange she wouldn't have mentioned it to anyone else on the cast.

That's the problem with lies. As more information becomes available, the lie has to twist and contort to remain plausible. I also doubt that she would want to get herself involved in this any more than she has to be, especially when it's pretty obvious which way the wind is blowing. She was probably truthful in the i09 article about the infidelity coming as a surprise to her, but even if she is still angry at Vic over it she probably might think better of trying to lie about it. She also hasn't been overly active on Twitter about it either, so I can't see any reason she wouldn't continue to keep her head down and stay out of it.
