I'm so sick of loveshies like Connor and Marijan demonizing all women and calling us sluts and whores and cunts who deserve to burn in hell just because we don't drop whatever we're doing and suck their dicks when they demand it. You not being good with the ladies doesn't reflect on the ladies, it reflects on you. Billions of other men handle women just fine.

The irony being that if you did drop whatever you were doing to suck their dicks, you'd still be a whore according to loveshies like Connor and Marijan.

Catch 22, man.

they have to hate womens, the other options is admitting that they are wrong, creepy and lazies.

in perspective: the other option is to fall in the deeps pits of desperation

It's so easy to say "I have abusive parents" when you're a teenager. It immediately paints you as a sympathetic victim held hostage by your abusers. Making the claims online to people who have no idea what your home life is like also makes your claims more difficult to disprove thereby guaranteeing at least a handful of supportive reactions. Plus it's another useful card to play during the Oppression Olympics.

That said, I don't know what Connor's home situation is like. He could have abusive parents, but he could also be misconstruing the events. Really, if it is such a detrimental living situation then he can take definitive steps to either change it or get himself out of there, neither of which he's shown initiative to do. He won't call DSS and he has a fervent dislike of therapy. So if he won't remove himself from the situation or take measures to confront his parents in a constructive way then barring some sort of miracle things will remain as they are.

In the end, Connor is not a reliable source of information on this front. I get the feeling that an educated third-party (such as a therapist or social worker) would come to a much different conclusion about the reality of his circumstances.

I might be biased into believing that there is truth to these claims, having parents who weren't beat-you-with-a-belt-when-they-drank-too-much abusive and more slowly-wear-you-down-into-a-submissive-twitchy-people-pleaser type of abusive. I think his parents, to some extent, have probably let him down horribly. There's a specificity to his stories that make me believe that these incidents happened, even if we're robbed of proper context and he seems to laser focus on a few stand-out incidents rather than the larger picture of his upbringing. I can totally believe his parents were in no way equipped to handle a child on the spectrum, and probably resented him because of that. Perhaps that's partially why he fails to believe that adoptive parents could possibly be loving: his parents were emotionally distant, and he's their own flesh and blood. Why would people unrelated give a shit about a child they didn't even create if his own parents come off like they wish he was never born?

Of course, abusive parents only explain where these issues come from: they do not excuse them. Connor seems more than happy to dwell in this misery instead of working to prove that he can live a life where he doesn't need their approval, that he can become independent of them and learn from where they screwed up. He's become defined by them, and the only other thing he has to define him is his desire to have Molly Ringwald be his lover/sister/mother. You don't reach that kind of fucked in the head unless there's some serious dysfunction going on in the family.

He is still creepy and disgusting and an unpleasant person, but at least his parents can share some blame in that.

So is this what Connor actually believes?

The reason why I think Connor thinks adoptions are bad is that he so social inept that he only thinks that genetics is the only way to establish close relationships with other people

Which is baffling, since he's also demonstrated that the people who he shares genetics with seem to resent his existence.

According to Wrongplanet it will be when hell freezes over :)

All the talk about Connor's abusive/not abusive parents is really reasonable but I'm leaning more to the side that some of it (his dad trying to cut his dick off with some kind of pool toy?) is a flat out lie while the real stuff (his parents telling him to shut up in public and poking his fat belly) are extremely exaggerated.

His aunt knows all about these horrors, right? He said that in a post, and she did nothing but say "if it's really this bad, you need to call the authorities". Maybe I'm overreaching, but you'd think someone who heard their nephew they care for was being abused by the monsters he's made his parents out to be, she'd have either helped him do it, offered to let him stay, or done it herself.

A girl I was friends with for a long time was a crazy self absorbed liar too. When I met her in middle school, she told me her parents were involved in black masses, and they locked her in a coffin her father built and kept in his shed while they did their ceremonies on moonless nights. When the DC snipers were running rampant, even though she lived 3 counties away, she would post these frantic, breathless missives on Livejournal about how she was "literally almost killed by these maniacs" because she used the same gas station as a victim a month earlier.

That is, in my mind, Connor, someone who doesn't get enough attention from resentful parents and exaggerates all their faults (like his mother being an alcoholic for drinking at Applebees). If his folks really did all this shit? Then they're really awful people, and I'm sorry for the suffering he's had, no one, especially a child, should go through it.

But even if they did, it doesn't change the fact every conversation he has ever had anywhere he has gone his entire has been about Connor. When his mom told him to shut up at dinner because she was so drunk? It was because he started talking about his goddamned book again and I'm sure they are very tired of hearing about how great it is.

Connor could solve this problem by just not using his first name everywhere he goes

I'd go as far as to say everything Connor goes on about is a lie purely for attention.

So how long is it going to be until Connor demonstrates his superior intellect and willpower by replying to this thread?
Well, here I am. I have been keeping tabs of this thread since about 12:10-ish Eastern Standard Time. In my mind, I've toyed with the idea of just completely abandoning the site and leaving you ladies and gentlemen in the dust, but I felt I should come back and discuss matters with you all like civilized young adults.
