We can call Casey a big ol' dumb dumb but I'm not going to say that he's being unethical, because I just want him to loose this case not his job.

This is good understanding of the job of a lawyer. Casey may look like an absolute dumb motherfucker, but if he's doing that in pursuit of his client's interests, he's doing his job.

Pretend I never said that next time I REEEE that he's an absolute idiot and needs to die.

While I want to believe CE is up to speed I do not think he truly is. Ty even mentions that this is a completely new world of litigation, a course not many have a clue as to what is going on. I think CE is applying the old, hold them back till something shakes loose tactic, but with four different defendants, Moronica, marchi and Funi there's too many balls in the air to simply sit and I hope it bites his clients in their self entitled rear ends.

I don't know for sure, but I think this could get him in trouble with the bar if true, so I doubt it. A lawyer's job is to represent their client to the best of their ability as has been stated by Nick. As mentioned by @GRB86 this is probably just new territory for him, as it is for everyone, and after weighing his options this is the best path he sees forward to zealously represent his clients. Yeah, I agree Casey is doing his best (or what he feels is the best) for his clients. However, the idea that he's playing 6-D chess and completely trolling MoRons while siphoning cash from them is a thought so funny I wish it WAS true

Been watching the newest TUG video where he reads an article that MoRon's attorney has listed as evidence that comes from Bleeding Fool. The article is a nice little summary of events starting after Ty joined the fight, along with several links to back up some of their statements. The comments can be summed up as "WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU? Are you TRYING to lose this case?"

It was then that something occurred to me: "What if that's EXACTLY what their attorney is doing?"

Think about it: MoRon have blatantly ignored their attorney's advice, primarily to stay off of Twitter and stop tweeting about the case. I would not be surprised if they ignored or argued against his council in other aspects as well.

An attorney in their right mind would NEVER list shit like this as evidence and I can see him arguing with his clients, saying something along the lines of "No, we CAN'T list a gossip forum as evidence!" So what if he finally just got so frustrated with his clients that he went "You know what? Fuck it. You wanna look like manipulative and petty lyers? All right. You obviously have no idea how the the real world works. Here's your fucking wake up call."

Granted, I could be giving him too much credit. But after Nick and Ty said that Casey appeared to be a competent attorney, as well as coming to the same opinion after my own research, I seriously think that this might just be an intentional ploy against MoRon.

IIRC, there is a 2010 study which said that up to 10% of all rape accusations alone in the US are inentionally false accusations. Extrapolate that to a global number and we're talking about numbers possibly in the tens thousands if not hundreds of thousands of false accusations.
