Pretty sad Ralph went from guzzling Memphis style BBQ to downing pills.

It takes a long period of daily use, multiple times a day before the withdrawal from benzodiazepines reaches that level of severity. And I can't see a doctor prescribing him xanax at his age, especially if he is an alcoholic, which means he's getting them on the side and not in the quanity needed to cause the severe withdrawal.

The booze is another thing though. If he drinks pretty heavily every day he needs to get in a detox, and then into AA.

Of course the first few paragraphs are whole thing is nothing but a pity party. Also, this may be an err on my part, but I could have sworn he made one of these "apologies" on his site a few weeks ago.

I had to see what that might look like.
The volcano thing and the statement in its entirety was most likely just a shitpost but I can almost see him killing himself on livestream as one final shitpost if he really was dying of cancerAIDS (I'm aware that it's just a meme) and only had a couple of months or something left.
