Now that seems like he did die. All we need now is for the family or a newsoutlet to publicly confirm it.After this specific post, its pretty over now, really sad shit.

Now back on topic, nothing new has come to light obviously, but the evidence is too overwhelming for it to not be Etika. This is getting to the point that I am 99% sure that it's him. However, I must bring up the question. How long do bodies go undiscovered in the harbor? And a bit dumber question since I'm not well versed on the concept, but how easy is it to kill yourself from a fall in water? Is it because you've fallen and sunk too far you can't getback up in time? Or are there rocks and other junk down there that makes it impossible to survive? I'm genuinely curious as the bridges nearby me (at leasts over bodies of water) have had a 15% suicide success rate.
Yeah if youve ever done a belly flop into a pool you can understand how it basically is just like hitting pavement, especially from high up and if you arent making an effort to actually dive in. Most people who fuck around diving are diving into a pool from maybe 10-20 feet, but usually probably from the edge of the water, and there are no rocks or shit under the water.Never ever make the mistake of thinking it is just water and so the landing will be soft. If you do you will learn the hard way, and with bad luck it will be the last thing you learn.
It was over the moment people found his bags on the bridge, people are just in denial and desperate. After this specific post, its pretty over now, really sad shit.

Do you even know what you are talking about? Seriously, 8-9 meters is not particularly dangerous unless you happen to land really badly. Hell in swim pools here we have 10 meters high platforms and even little children jump from those. Your worst outcome would be if you happen to land on the pavement another platform which has happened to someone at a waterpark many years ago, that person died. Never mind that, the Manhattan bridge's height over water is more than 41 meters so there is no way in hell that he survived a jump. If the impact didn't get him (which it most certainly would have) then the currents would. And could he even swim to begin with or was he a stereotypical black person? Now that seems like he did die. I lived on an island. On that island, we would go to the cliffs and dive off (notice the luxury of divers going after him tout suite). The times I am back with family there, I am very careful and starting low again. It is fun but can be extremely dangerous, you have to jump a certain way to not hit rocks underwater and to not get knocked out hitting the water.
The dumbass tourists that come and jump from high right away to show how tough they are often have to be rescued. They will either go and hit flat, normally hitting the water with their back first, which means you are unable to breathe. You might as wel be jumping on pavement. Then the locals have to get you out and sometimes take you to a hospital if your breathing has stopped completely, which can happen. I make about one such trip if I am there during tourist season because I pull him/her out. Never jump if no locals present, they are your lifeguard. Even if you go feet first you go toes first and do not keep them flat. Some chick thought she was hot stuff, jumped from way high, broke her ankle that they had to put together again.

If you hit water the wrong way from ~8-9 meters and up, you can either be breathing but out cold, and you breathe in water, or your breathing may cease, and you will fill up also. There is no way to jump from so high you can no get back up in time if you can in any way shape or form survive the fall, that is not it. Rocks and other stuff, sure, if you hit that, you break your skull and is instakill from the time I saw. Unless Etika is a world class cliff diver and very lucky, he did not survive a jump from a bridge that high.
This game's winner is...

You know the old saying, "black people can't swim"? He dead.I only know what happens when you jump off cliffs. Seen it go bad enough times. I have done it wrong once from about 15-18 and I know it hurts and could barely breathe. Had no idea how high the Manhattan bridge was though. Never seen it. That seems too high to live through. The currents are another issue, but only if he lived which would be highly unlikely at best at that height. No idea if he could even swim. Anyone?
