The whole thing sounds like a narcissistic fluffpiece but that's usually the case with public apologies, they're hard to come across as sincere compared to personally made ones and too much of the text is dedicated to making himself look good. "I don't tweet about all my personal problems to gain sympathy but I do it because I want to inspire people." Most of his apologies seem to be directly about him having lost social standing amongst his friends, but he doesn't really make apologies for his behaviour other than taking people for granted. I don't really get the sense he feels sorry about anything other than the fact he feels isolated.

That said, if i'm wrong about all this and this is where he turns it around then good for him. But if he was serious I think I would've come away reading that piece feeling like he humbled himself more.

The reason he didn't make excuses for his behaviour is because he went out of his way to not even mention what behaviour he was apologising for.
This isn't a turning point for the behaviour, it's him realising he has to do better at hiding it.

The constant reference to "coming back to the table" in his article is what I coined "the cycle." It's hardwired in jcaesar187 to push forward without thinking, pushing forward and forgetting everything he did previously. The apology (to sound like a mother) is a "I'm sorry I got caught for fucking up" rather than "o fuk I messed up." This is only written because he put it on air and it made waves to audiences like Jim, Masterson etc. He will not stream until Friday because of this, and best case scenario Dick DOES IT FOR THE FANS and fucks the gunt into oblivion live.

His whole ā€œI always talk about my problemsā€ bit isnā€™t true. He almost never talks about his problems and constantly tries to brush shit under the rug, Jail is treated as a stint that got him back on his feet, heā€™s tried to claim that his weight is fine before and doesnā€™t like the gunt meme, and heā€™s constantly lied about his booze addiction in the past couple weeks. The only other time Iā€™ve seen him come to Jesus about the booze was when his fetching wife was weening him off with tea a couple months ago.

Itā€™s total bullshit.

Does Ralph listen to himself talk? He has been in denial about his booze intake for fuck knows how long, he even pissed away his friends doing so. This apology is hollow and self serving, and what really hits that point home is that Ralph doesn't apologize to the fans at all. The people who write checks for his fat ass get nothing. He just showed up to work drunk as fuck for months on end, putting out a shit product and anyone who doesn't like it can go sit on it. Fuck you Ralph, you're a phoney and disingenuous fatfuck.
