Joking aside... did he posted a video prior to his death on why he pushed through on killing himself?
He did.

Also, this YouTuber never heard of Etika but saw a mile awhile people in his circles died similar to him right down to his eyes.

Also, a message to Susan Wojcicki. You have blood on your hands now. Resign or the US Government will destroy your website.

I get that it is sad that a person was driven to suicide, but why is everyone acting like he was some great hero and an "inspiration". He was just a dude who reacted to videos. When the reports about the dead body came in people were praying that it wasn't him. What makes him more important than anyone else? I know that he was famous so more people will be aware of him. Maybe I am just cold-hearted.
Like I said in my post, even if you weren't one of them, Etika brought a lot of joy to a lot of people who watched his videos and streams. He probably was a "hero" (they're probably just using too-strong of a word, not gonna blame them) of some kind to many.

A lot of people ask "what makes X famous person more important" when people make "press F" or tribute posts for them when they die. It isn't that they're seen as more important necessarily, but they're more widely known so it gives the impression that people care more. Most people around the world don't know about Joe down the street that killed himself five years ago, but a great chunk of the internet (especially the gaming portion) know about Etika.

When people were pressing F for Robin Williams back in 2014, it wasn't like they were doing it for some Instathot, and it wasn't because they thought he was more important than their grandfather, or whatever. Not that I'm comparing the great Genie to the great Smash Sperg, but hopefully you see what I mean.

Twitter right now is blowing up with stuff about him. My entire feed is people, who previously didn't care, suddenly making posts about not mocking the mentally ill because they might jump off a bridge. It's strange to say the least. People are already using this guy's death to act like moral fags and get attention themselves. Wild. Poor guy really needed help.

that they weren't laughing and making fun of him last week
I kept forgetting to check his thread out, so I can totally claim that :drink:
Says that YouTube pulled his final video that has a very “I’m gonna end it all” vibe to it. Kinda fucked up, I’m not exactly how to put it to words but something about doing that just doesn’t sit right with me.
It's the fact that these big companies are selectively censoring what information can and can't be out there. He posted it, so he wanted it to be seen, and taking it down when he's dead and can't object, and because he's dead, is annoying, to say the least. Like, that's basically his suicide note. It could be argued that there is at least some value to seeing the final public words of someone who committed suicide, and regardless if there is, people should be able to decide for themselves.
It's the weird restructuring of the internet where all the world's information used to be right at your fingertips. Now that info is curated by the whims of corporations and shit.

The mental institute who held him didnt do shit it seems.
Why cant speds just take a break from the internet whenever it becomes too much to handle?

It's important to understand that not every person can handle life the same way no matter how similar their lifestyle are. Robin Williams for example suffered depression and he was some of the most joyful guys around.

Even though I never knew Etika much, I can see how his death affects those who watched his content.

Never really watched much of him but he seemed like a nice guy before he developed all the mental health issues. F
