Actually knowing several people who count cards, most casinos don't mind if a few people do it. It brings in more money because it makes the table seem hot. (it depends on how much money you're winning. At most the pit boss will come down and ask you to cash out) Also most good casinos switch the shoes after every 6 hands or so. Also the ace technically counts as a 1 or 11 but it can switch. It also doesn't count as an 11 in poker. It depends if the table has the aces high or low.Have you ever played poker or blackjack? The ace is either a 1 or 11. It's not a wild card; it's 1 or 11. Go into a casino and tell the dealer it has to be one or the other and see how fast they call security and you get escorted off the property and told not to return or you will be trespassing and they'll call the police.
